Are the iPhones actually put in the milk box, or do I have to pick up the package from the post office on Saturday morning? I work all day and have no chance of being home when the postman rings:smileytongue:

And it’s not possible to pick up a package on the same day, unfortunately:smileysad: I’m so happy to finally get a new phone!

Can someone help me with that? (sweet ask)

it comes registered, ie. The postman won’t put it in the milk box. Just ask at the post office, you can e.g. Have the mail retained so you could pick it up in the evening. I would call your local post office today and ask

I ordered my iPhone from the SC Shop on Saturday morning. Apparently it should be on the way.

I’m looking forward to Christmas like a little child:smileyvery-happy:

If it is sent PostPac Priority, the device has to be there the next day! My order status says “Shipping registration 3:56 p.m..” and as far as I know you have to hand it in to PostPac Priority before 4 p.m. so that it arrives the next day. Hope it comes today :smileytongue:

Well, first of all, I just find it embarrassing that SC doesn’t even manage to specify a delivery date. The first iPhones will be delivered tomorrow and there are still customers who don’t have a delivery date. Secondly, from what I read here in the forum, SC’s FIFO was never adhered to. I ordered an iPhone 6+ 128GB spacegray on September 19th, 2014 at 7:00 a.m. and my friend who ordered the same at 10:00 a.m. has the delivery date October 3rd, 2014 and I still have an unknown delivery date. How can that be?

I have to say that the pre-sales for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ are actually even worse than for the iPhone 5. Back then you at least got a delivery date.

Regarding FIFO. Just had contact with a Swisscom employee. I find that a real disgrace. Big announcement that it will be traded according to FIFO and then this:

: 10:44:53

It may be that the order was placed via another channel and was therefore visible more quickly in the system. Our orders are processed one after the other.Yannick: 10:45:50

Then Swisscom would not process the orders according to the FIFO principle because my order is 25 hours older than the other person’s.SereinaS: 10:46:28

Yes, but depending on which channel you use to place the order, the system’s processing is faster or slower.SereinaS: 10:46:37

That’s why you can’t be precise about the time of ordering.

Yes, it seems as if some who ordered via the hotline on Saturday already have a delivery date and others who ordered via the online shop on Friday, like me, are still waiting for a delivery date.

I’m wondering if it has anything to do with the color I ordered.

When I scroll through the thread it seems that there aren’t enough space grays…

The orders ultimately all end up in one pot. From there it goes to FIFO. The only question is, how do they get there? There are different channels (online shop, Swisscom shop and hotline). So, if you order in the online shop at 1:40 a.m., you don’t necessarily have to be in the pot earlier than someone who orders at 8:00 a.m. via the hotline. There are probably still a few interfaces hanging in between, etc. And when the servers are down, you can imagine the rest.

I just find it strange that the orders from September 19th. are not finished yet. Others after September 20th ordered already have a delivery date. Thank you from September 19th. but still “delivery time unknown”. This can’t be allowed!

Take it easy. I ordered my iP6 128Gb at 1.30 and also have to wait. Space Gray is and has always been the most popular color. Plus, Swisscom is at least doing something. You don’t hear anything about Media Markt and Mobilezone. Not even if you ask. At the same time, Mobilezone complains that you are selling the cell phone from midnight. But whatever, I’m going to pick up my first iP 6 from Apple tomorrow…. Can’t wait!:smileysurprised:
