  • Hi @lucaberta could you please share how you configured the WAN interface? Are you requesting the IPV6 using DHCPv6?

    for IPv4 I need to pass this option in the Lease requirements (dhcp-class-identifier “100008,0001,opnsense”) but any particular option for the DHCPv6 section?

  • I manage to enable/activate the connection by using Swisscom current DNS’s:

    195.186.1.162
    195.186.4.162

    Later open https://swisscom.com/registration It may ask for the serial number or username/password of your current account.

    Currently working only using VLAN 10, no need to set up DHCP options (class identifier).

    IP TV also working but in this case, I had to enable a firewall rule in the WAN interface from any to multicast UDP:

    WAN(UDP) * to 224.0.0.0/4

  • pfsense & TP-Link MC220L DHCP works but no internet

  • Using the SFP module from the Internet Box 2 on the TP-Link MC220L and from there via RJ45 to the pfSense router, I am available to get an IPv4 address via DHCP, I can ping to the gateway but nothing else.

    The router (pfSense) is configured to use VLAN 10, and just in case using DHCP options 60:

    send dhcp-class-identifier “100008,0001,pfSense”;

    When opening a browser randomly a page appears asking for an activation code (not always) this only happens when the assigned IP is in the range 100.X.X.X.

    The hardware is working, DHCP obtaining IP’s but seems that the line is bound to the internet box 2, any idea about how to fix this in order to be available to use custom hardware?
