slow internet
I have a subscription that in theory allows me to surf at a speed of 200 Mb, but in reality I can barely reach 42 Mb now. A few months ago I reached 150. Why did they reduce the speed? Why did I just receive an advertisement that a high-speed network is now available at my home? And above all, why does Swisscom make me pay for a 200 subscription when it verbally claims that 42 is already good for the line I have? Wouldn’t it have been correct, if it wasn’t possible to have greater speed (but I don’t believe it!), to notify me and make me pay for a cheaper subscription?
Good evening Nico, thanks for the reply. Well all I have to do is express my opinion on this monopoly, given that technically they DO NOT allow room for maneuver. With all the technologies that exist nowadays it seems impossible that there isn’t a solution. The only answer is that everything is encrypted voluntarily. Regarding copyright, I wonder why recordings can be made with the old system and this also applies to terrestrial and via satellite. Then it’s true that they are on the swisscom server, but space is limited, cutting parts that take up useless space (for example advertising) are not allowed and if one day you were to change operator you would lose everything. And who would want to keep memories for posterity? I maintain that in a certain sense it is a worsening. Probably also dictated by financial and earning needs.
Hi everyone, I assume you are talking about Swisscom TV 2.0, as with classic Swisscom TV you can download (or rather record on other media) the broadcasts. Copyright? But excuse me, but didn’t copyright exist with VHS cassettes? Satellite broadcasts can also be recorded on external media, why shouldn’t this be possible at Swisscom?
