Similar here. Gave the router a specific name under Swisscom DynDNS, but I don’t know what to type into the URL-bar of the Webbrowser to call up the Router with given name remotely.
Thank you everyone for the various tips. I’ve tried them all, unfortunately without success.
It actually looks like my hardware (Swisscom HD TV-Box IP1200, Apple TV 2013, Philips 42PFP5332/10) is now too old to support the latest version of PLEX.
Since the television picture was still excellent despite pre-Smart TV and, in my opinion, you don’t always have to have the latest technology in your holiday home, I had no reason to invest in new hardware. Now it seems to be time to change my credo and renew either the Swisscom TV-Box or the Apple TV box…PLEX doesn't start
When I start the PLEX app on my Swisscom HD TV-Box (IP1200), the PLEX logo is displayed for a long time and then an error message appears “Plex is unable to start due to an error” and the recommendation to perform a “Reset Plex”. . After clicking on the corresponding selection and re-linking the TV-Box with PLEX (entering the link code, which is displayed under plex.tv/link), it says “You are ready”, but Enter or OK does nothing, you then have to do it again Enter via the PLEX tile under “App Tips” Then everything described above starts again.
Due to a community tip that the PLEX version in the “App Tips” is outdated, I also looked for the PLEX app in the other categories, but couldn’t find it….Has anyone had similar problems and a solution for this?
