International channels

any Swedish channels?

Hej!

Like written in a archive-thread, it is possible that e.g. Sverige Television or other Channels do not allow to watch their contents in other countries by devices like Swisscom TV.

Maybe @RomanE or @UrsSch could tell us more about this?

As far as I know there are no Swedish Channels available Free to Air over Satellite. Swedisch Channels only have the rights to broadcast within Sweden, like SRF only has the rights to Broadcast within Switzerland.

@RomanE but is there no option to serve these channels by services? Maybe the SVT Play-App? I dont really know how much scandinavians are here in switzerland and would wish this, but it would be a great service - like you serve for example various apps from russian television.

Personally if this would work i would use it too to learn a bit more about sweden and their culture 😉
