First steps: how the Swisscom Community works
The Swisscom Community allows you to share doubts and information about Swisscom and its services with other customers. Find out here how the Community works and what the main functions are.
Search contents
The search field with the magnifying glass on the home page allows you to search for information and users within the Community. Filters allow you to further narrow your search results.
Navigate between posts
There are two types of posts: threads and articles. In the threads, users discuss everything, while the articles are published by the editorial team and concern specific topics. For each area there is a Knowledge Box which collects the corresponding articles.
Create a post
Do you have a question on a certain topic and want to open a new discussion? Use the menu to go to the corresponding section (e.g. Telephony > Mobile) and possibly to the discussion that already exists on the topic; then, click on the “Ask a question” box on the right. Describe your problem as precisely as possible. By entering “@” in the text field, you can select other users or contributions.
Answer a question
Go to the contribution and click on “Answers” at the bottom right. The bar with symbols in the response field allows you to copy the original contribution and then insert your own response.
Subscribe to content
Go inside a section (topic), thread or article, click on the cogwheel and choose “Subscribe to discussion”. You will receive an email notification whenever new content is published. In “My settings” > “Subscriptions and notifications” you can see the content you have subscribed to and change subscriptions and notifications (email, push, pop-up).
**Send a private message
**Click on your username at the top right, next to your profile picture and select “Unread private messages” to access your private inbox. Here you can write new messages or view already sent messages.Forgot password
Click on “Login” at the top right. Enter your username on the Swisscom Login page and then click on “Forgot your password?”.
