Kostenlos surfen im PWLAN von Swisscom

Free surfing on Swisscom’s PWLAN

With Swisscom’s public PWLAN hotspots, you can connect to free Wi-Fi at over 6,000 locations across Switzerland. Find out how here.

If your mobile subscription does not include unlimited data, you can find an Internet connection for your mobile devices away from home thanks to Swisscom’s public WLAN hotspots.

Connect to PWLAN

If there is a PWLAN hotspot nearby, your mobile, tablet or laptop will display the WLAN name ‘Swisscom’, ‘Swisscom auto login’ or the name of one of our PWLAN partners, such as ‘COOP free’ next to the WLAN icon.

Swisscom Autologin’ (Only customers with Swisscom mobile subscription):

  1. To connect, click ‘Swisscom auto login’.
  2. You will be automatically connected to the Internet.

Swisscom’ or partner WLAN, e.g. ‘COOP free’:

  1. To connect, click ‘Swisscom’ or ‘COOP free’.
  2. Open the Internet browser (e.g. Safari, Chrome etc.) and access any website.
  3. The Swisscom PWLAN homepage will open automatically.
  4. Sign in with either Free SMS login or a Free voucher.

Deactivate PWLAN

You can disconnect via the WLAN icon when you are done. The next time you are near a PWLAN, you will need to log in again. You will only be automatically connected to the Internet with ‘Swisscom auto login’ or a known WLAN. If you do not wish to connect automatically in the future, you can disable this in the WLAN or network settings on your mobile phone or laptop.

Why put * the new conditions of use of Swisscom Login * in German when we express ourselves in French? I had to go through Google translator. Greetings and have a nice day.

Good morning,

my swisscom login is refused from my laptop but accepted with the phone. For what? What is missing?

If anyone knows how to help me, I’m interested…

I can only connect to my Natel’s wifi, but as a result my Natel cannot use the wifi.

I know and can connect my PC to many other networks.

THANKS

Could you please list the necessary parameters for the “Swisscom auto login” network? My Android phone doesn’t connect automatically to it and instead asks me to configure the network (authentication protocols, credentials, etc.) like for a WPA Enterprise WLAN.

@Bioyusa47

On an Android smartphone

Settings > search with the 🔍 Intelligent Wi-Fi > set up as needed

Good morning,

Is it mentioned anywhere the maximum number of simultaneous devices with the same GSM number with PWLAN?

Example: A customer with a GSM smartphone, a tablet without a SIM card, a PC without a SIM card and an iPad without a SIM card. He makes the request 3 times with his GSM number and the 4th time it doesn’t work.

THANKS

The article doesn’t help me with the problem: I set up the PWLAN on a third-party device and saved the password. Now I can no longer delete the PWLAN autologin.

@TZHSCGU3

The autologin is usually saved on a mobile phone as a configuration profile.

If it is an iOS device, you can find it under Settings/General/VPN and Device Management/CONFIGURATION PROFILE and can delete it there if necessary.

@Werner Hello everyone, so I understand correctly that every customer can connect to Autologin WITHOUT PASSWORD??? And what if you don’t want that at all? I have a case with me right now, the customer doesn’t want to be connected to the network at all, but she is connected automatically every time, she has:
1. NEVER TRANSFER DATA

2. I have all network settings back.

3. I even replaced entire iPhones, the stupid Swisscom Autologin is still there!

What can you offer for Swisscom customers who don’t want to be connected to Auto_Login?

Show original language (German)

@Stallaulding20 Autologin uses a security certificate to log in, which is even significantly more secure than a preshared key, commonly known as a “Wi-Fi password”. When it comes to security, you can therefore rest assured with Swisscom Autologin.

If you still want to turn off this useful functionality, you can find instructions on how to find and delete the relevant profile at Apple. .

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Hello, Do you have a more detailed connection procedure that we can pass on to our users? The procedure for obtaining a Free Voucher is not very complex but it is complex enough for most of our users. Thanks, Richard.

How to get rid of that? I’m no more Swisscom customer, but when next to network “Swisscom Auto Login”, it tries to connect. And obviously fail.

And that network doesn’t appear in the Wifi list.

Must be some left over from a Swisscom app, but which one?

Hello @Greudafitz57,

Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with the solution. I just extended your question.

I am a Swisscom customer and my mobile always wants to connect to Swisscom Autologin, even though I don’t want to either. It’s very slow. And I don’t like being automatically connected to a public wifi because I don’t always realize it quickly enough to activate my VPN. I prefer to stay on 5G. I would also like to be able to prevent this automatic connection.
