If the equipment is not turned on when the update process is activated, it will be triggered the next time TV-Box is used. It’s faster if you leave the equipment on standby, then only the configuration part remains to be done at startup.

In order to no longer be bothered by this message “Your box will turn off”, I invite you to go to the settings (notched wheel) of your Swisscom TV Box. Then, click on “System” and then select “Automatic shutdown” and check the box “The TV Box does not turn off”.

In your customer area under “My data” -> “Password & logins” in the “Other passwords” section you will be able to view the password in relation to each email address managed by this account.

Or simpler, “E-Mail” -> “E-mail password”

The password for webmail and POP3/IMAP access is often different.

Normally you can also create a new Swisscom Login and link your wife’s email address to this account.
