The term DMZ is absolutely wrong. Swisscom does not offer a demilitarized zone but rather access to a computer on your own LAN. For a real DMZ you have to take care of it yourself. I find it embarrassing that an ISP provider offers something like that.

Yes that correct, Swisscom does nothing to provide a proper SIP. They have there partners, which are supported, but everything costless like asterisk is nothing for Swisscom, so Swisscom is nothing anymore for me. I habe a security System which makes calls over an analog line, I purchased an Cisco SPA112 connected it ti Sipcall and it works perfectly. The company EKB where I have the SecuriySystem I don’t let anymore in my house, because they told me, that I habe to order the bewest Security Device for 5500 CHF.

The Cico SPA112 costed me about 70 bugs, and my new provider SIPCALL is not expensive.$$By the Way, I run also asterisk on a rasperry, now I am Swisscomless, free and happy

How did you manage that, which adapters do you use, generally, what does your solution look like?

There are many reasons why you would want to have your own telephone system. For example, advertising calls annoy me, which is why I currently have the callid blocker, but I would like to be protected beyond that.

So when I make a call, I want to search for the number with my contacts (already happens today), but if it can’t be found, I ask on the internet who the caller is and show them. If it can’t be found, I won’t let the call go through, if the number is reported on Tellows (you can enter telephone terror numbers there, in this forum these numbers are rated from 0=serious to 9=telephone terror.

If swisscom doesn’t manage to protect me despite the star entry, I’ll just do it myself.

Depending on the software’s assessment, I can then play different texts to the caller, such as:

They are a call center and are trying to harass me despite the star entry

or

Even if marketing surveys are allowed to call (legally) despite the star entry, they still annoy me but I know how to protect myself.
