  • Hello r00T

Thank you for your response to my comment.

I learned something new again and it was very reassuring that it doesn’t necessarily have to be the Samsung TV.

So overnight the TV box, the router and the Samsung TV were completely switched off and unplugged. This morning I reconnected everything and let the TV run for about 15 minutes. No interruption in the picture. Fingers crossed that it stays that way!

It was precisely in the replay that it stalled, as well as when watching Netflix or normal TV. The station is running, the picture goes black (approx. 4 seconds), the station is running again. The whole thing happened every 3 minutes.

The TV box is connected to the router via a network cable. All cables are intact and the problem only occurred after upgrading the TV box.

Well, it remains exciting. The problem may have resolved itself overnight after 2 days 🙂

  • Dear Swisscom community

My Swisscom TV Box received the new update yesterday. Update completed. Now I’ve already spoken to 3 different supporters on the phone because the picture stops when I watch TV. The TV box and router were reset x times and everything was reinstalled. Without success! Now I read on the internet that your Samsung television with Smart TV must not be older than 2017. Older televisions do not support the new Android operating system! It makes me incredibly angry that I now have to buy a new TV just because of this shitty update! My Samsung Smart TV was built in 2014. Why does everything always have to be replaced when the old one still works? And will Swisscom now finance a new TV for me? Hardly! I didn’t want the update. Impudence!
