If you have a compatible SFP+, it could work. This has been discussed several times here in the community and, as far as I know, has been successfully implemented
by the way:
This is not “dear Swisscom” - we are customers here just like you….

luzerner75 unless you are an ISP, then you might have a change, otherwise as a normal RES customer: NO WAY !
The certifications are not free, who should pay for them ? You for instance ?
POGO 1104 Thank you for your reply. I realise this is a customer forum, but I’m quite sure Swisscom is reading too. Unfortunately there is no contact email at Swisscom and you can’t open a ticket anywhere. And you just get spit off on the phone. That’s why I wanted to put it in writing here.
I think it should also work with the right SFP+ module. But Swisscom also states that only devices on the compatibility list are explicitly permitted. Hence the attempt here.
This router does not have a built-in modem, so it cannot be connected directly to an Internet connection and therefore cannot be included in a compatibility list for the various connection types.
However, it does have an SFP+ port, which can also be used as a WAN connection.
I wouldn’t do this myself, but you may be able to supplement it with an additional network-compatible SFP+ bridge modem.
What is the exact connection type of your Swisscom connection: copper, VDSL2, g.Fast, fibre optic, FTTH, FTTH with blue connector (BX), FTTH with red connector (XGS-PON)?

POGO 1104 Thank you very much, that sounds exciting, it’s probably exactly what I need.
Now I just need to find the right SFM+ XGS-PON module… The one mentioned in this post is currently not available at Galaxus.
https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/allnet-isp-bridge-modem-xgspon-gbic-all-bm410-xgspon-gbic-router-47227851
But it really seems to fit and is even certified by Swisscom :-)
luzerner75 luzerner75 You can try to buy it from Init7.

user109 yes, looks like only customers can order there.
I have now sent an enquiry directly to Allnet Switzerland:

luzerner75 but the question is whether the RES customers process enquiries, I don’t think so.
I have another hot TIP: At internettelefon.ch @Meier123
see https://community.swisscom.ch/d/806436-sfp-modul-mikrotik/17
NOW NEW: SFP for XGS-PON
- Swisscom-certified

Hello together
Well, it definitely works perfectly: Unfiy Dream Router 7 with the “Allnet ISP Bridge Modem ALL-BM410-XGSPON-GBIC”.
There are 2 important points: On the WAN side, the following settings are mandatory:
- VLAN: 10
- DHCP option 60: 100008,0001
This will almost certainly work with any third-party router if you use this certified module.
The module gets quite warm, but I assume this is normal as it has a large “heat sink” on it.
The module will probably be available again soon at Galaxus, the reseller says end of April:
https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/allnet-isp-bridge-modem-xgspon-gbic-all-bm410-xgspon-gbic-router-47227851
I ordered it here, friendly advice and received it the next day:
