Hello,
I’m looking for some experience of downloading films recorded on an iPad (so that I can watch them when I don’t have a connection).
After downloading the films onto the iPad, I regularly find that they are not available when I launch the app offline, which is quite frustrating …. Does this problem happen to others? Any ideas on how to ensure that the film or programme is actually downloaded?

But this is about the iPad and watching “offline” downloaded recordings. They are stored on the iPad (possibly even iCloud???).
My downloaded recordings work in the BlueTV app WITHOUT an internet or mobile connection.
The app does complain when starting up that there is no internet connection, but this can be “bypassed” at short notice.
It also says so in the description from Swisscom…

I can confirm @Boschi64’s answer, it also works on my iPad. Is your iPad up to date? **What OS do you have on your iPad?

It does work in general, but sometimes the films don’t appear as fully downloaded on the iPad (whereas they did when I was online). It’s quite intermittent. But it seems to be working fine for you.

I have iOS 18.3.1.
Jou, I had the same problem with the “strange” DLs this morning, but it was “stupidly” due to my PiHole…
No problems without PiHole. It could also “possibly” be due to the “private relay” on the iPad, but I haven’t tested that yet
tested, as I’m not using it at the moment.
