Hello Roffoju61

What’s funny is that in your history, you didn’t ask any questions that were answered informally.

Moreover, on forums and social networks, everyone uses familiarity with each other, but the respect remains the same, whether you are addressed informally or informally.

Good morning,

Unfortunately this indication is incorrect because there is only the possibility of accepting Google’s conditions to continue. There is no “continue without accepting” button. I also find it very cavalier to force users to accept these conditions. If I do not accept the CGG I no longer have access to my TV.

Normally the remote control is updated in 2-3 minutes. You must be careful to keep it close to TV-Box to have a stable transmission.

To trigger an update we go through the settings, system, remote control. It is indicated if an update is available which must be accepted.

If everything is blocked, unplug the TV-Box, remove the batteries from the remote control for 30 seconds and start again by reconnecting the TV-Box.

hello, as often happens the update does not bring anything good… thank you Google… slow box, choppy image… they are going to sell us a faster and more expensive stream package while the previous version worked very well. Disappointing

Hello Schiojegritt45

There is nothing wrong with agreeing to Google’s terms as it is mandatory. However, you are not required to use or sign up for the Google Play Store if you do not want to download external apps. The box will work with Swisscom blue TV applications as before. The existing software before this major update was also based on an open version of Android, so there is no difference.

@Anonym Hello

Please reread the message located just above your question, everything is explained there.
P.S.: In addition, please note that the boxes of all operators are managed by Google.

Why managed by Google? to pay again?

many new IT contracts are managed by Google.

If it is to control everything that is the world’s IT, it must be announced directly, as if to levy new Taxes.

No need to sign my message, because you have my contact details, right Google?

Hi Deufliommei19

You are here on a forum linked to Swisscom, where we are simple customers like you. For information, Swisscom boxes have been managed as open source by Google for several years. However, it is important to remember that you do not have to activate the Google Store. The applications provided by Swisscom are sufficient to watch Swisscom TV.

I am not interested in changing boxes

In your first message, you mentioned refusing Google, and now you are talking about changing boxes. It would be best to contact Swisscom support at 0800 800 800 (freephone number). An advisor will be able to provide you with clearer explanations than those given on this forum.
