If you can’t find the network in your WiFi list, then you need to disable the option once you are near a PLWAN.

No way to find the map of Swisscom Public Hotspots locations, all links lead to this page without a map.

Swisscom autologin requires login details. It doesn’t work with normal Swisscom login data. How come? What do you have to enter there?

“Swisscom Autologin” (only customers with Swisscom Mobile subscriptions):

1. Do you have a Swisscom Mobile subscription?

2. Has Wi-Fi been activated on the phone?

If 1=OK and 2=OK:

- delete the browsing history of the browser you are using

- restart the phone

- test

Unfortunately, the hotspot in the St.Galler Kantonalbank Arena (home stadium of the SCRJ LAKERS in Rapperswil) did not work last night. Although I have been setting up the autologin for years, neither “Swisscom” nor “Swisscom Autologin” appeared for selection when the WLAN was switched on. Very weak, as there was no access to important information that I needed to receive during my visit to the arena (reception via 4G in the hall is extremely weak)

Yes, then there was probably a malfunction or a defect in the hotspot. What do you want to do there? It can just happen. You have no guarantee that everything will always run smoothly.

Really great answer 😉 - I would rather have expected that it would now be checked whether there was actually a problem and if so… whether it could now be fixed.

Then you would have to report the problem directly to Swisscom(https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/hilfe/kontakt01/formular/contactform14.html), we are customers like you here 😉 (Hence the name customers help customers forum)

@CorinaS can you pass on the message from @Fufrettik54 to the responsible authority? If you go to https://www.swisscom.ch/de/about/netz/netz-karten.html. If you click on the PWLAN tile or click on “Go to map” you will end up here in the thread. This is confusing for the customer because they expect a card.

I’m at the campsite. Now I can connect to the p WLAN and I receive a code with 6 digits and that works. But when I want to connect the TV at the campsite, this code doesn’t work for the p WLAN.. it’s too short.. I haven’t been able to connect to the p WLAN with the TV since last year.

Normally you have to log in with the Swisscom login and if it is a code it comes to your cell phone as an SMS.

How does the app open on the Samsung TV?

No, there is no app on the TV. I previously had to select the Wi-Fi on the TV, Swisscom Auto login, then a page opened and I had to log in with the phone number and received an SMS, Dan entered the code and I was connected. If I now select the Swisscom Auto login w LAN it doesn’t open a page but immediately requests the code…
