@Miemeittau83 the problem is already known and has already been explained by Swisscom.

Therefore there is no point in making multiple posts about it.

You see, and that’s exactly what I see differently! It’s definitely worth it if even more opponents complain about dark mode, as the argument that the majority likes it will soon be invalid. I’m not doing the work that SC should actually be doing. But if you examine this and the other stream on the topic more closely, you would see that more opponents than supporters post here. And I’m not talking about the number of posts but rather the number of users involved in the discussion.

It’s also not about the majority being happy with it (it’s not a vote!).

An interface should be designed so that as many customers as possible are satisfied.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT MEANS FULFILLING CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS, NO MORE AND NO LESS.

NOT THE MAJORITY OF CUSTOMERS BUT AS MANY CUSTOMERS AS POSSIBLE!

It’s not just about dark or light but generally about the dictatorial orientation of SC!

How did it work… “let’s start collecting the signatures”… for the Volksinitiative 😉… then it wasn’t like that many / for what exactly?…

By the way…the number of posts in this thread simply doesn’t match the number of views.

@“x”#60990Thanks for the solution

The forum is just not representative. Some opponents of dark mode are shouting as loudly as possible here in the forum to 1 million households whose opinion we don’t know.

What should it be measured against, not the majority, but what else? Probably 90% are satisfied and some complainers here won’t let up! If I am not satisfied with a performance/service, I look for another solution and do not try to impose something on everyone else as a minority.

Well, I guess I misunderstood something again.
I don’t want to quote any excerpts here (that would probably be more of a denunciation). But the tone of many of the answers doesn’t match my nature.
In this sense:
Bye, it was nice meeting you.

Very respectful!

Hello @TiViGucki

If you misunderstood something about Customers Help Customers:

This is not the platform for complaining, but rather an exchange of problems with the application, the cabling, new software, etc. takes place here.

If you don’t think a Swisscom offer is right, you can post your opinion here, but you will only receive a solution from Swisscom itself.

What would be important to us in the forum would be whether and how you were successful.

@r4s6 I think you heard that your comments were somewhat disrespectful and that there was also criticism among the moderators? Please stick to the forum rules.

mazel I agree with you. It’s slowly no longer making sense.

I give everyone the same respect that they give me. “how to scream in the forest…”

Alternatively, why can’t OS 3.2 be made available at Swisscom TV…? Personally, this was completely enough for me…

More people would probably be satisfied with this solution….

@tulrich

This question has already been asked and answered elsewhere in the forum:

The parallel operation of several OS leads to a lot of additional effort, especially in the areas of support, product maintenance and logistics.

Show original language (German)

@hed The OS on my box doesn’t need much maintenance…. I can’t judge how much effort is required for Swisscom in the background,

nor how much effort/cost does an OS cause that may/maybe not be desired by a majority of users?

Show original language (German)

@tulrich

Every OS needs storage space partly in non-volatile memory (when there is no power) and in volatile memory and this is usually available in the devices, so you cannot write endless software.

An OS must also be tailored to the hardware and there are limits there too.

So in the background it is not so easy to fulfill all wishes and the simplest ways are sought, which not everyone likes.

You can also see this clearly with Apple’s iOS, where some good applications have disappeared with the newer iOS, or even disadvantages arise.

Or with Windows where many people are of the opinion that Windows XP was very good, why do you now have to install Windows 10, or Office 2007, why does it now have to be an Office 365 and so on.

@r4s6

Why deviation, this is about Appearance/TV Guide, so not just TV-Air but also about the TV-Box.
