@aga_peter can you switch to Netflix (think that was the template for dark mode)? I haven’t tried it yet…
That’s very nice for you.
If you watch TV when there is light or not completely darkened, the conventional light mode can offer a much better contrast…
However, this is not about an exclusive either-or, but about a choice between both modes depending on lighting conditions, viewing habits and individual preference.
Swisscom should be able to do that.
Hello everyone
To say the least, the new update to OS4.0 is a disaster.
If I press the home button, it takes forever until I get to the settings, for example.
If I press the TV guide button it takes forever until I can do something.
The same applies to changing channels. When zapping between channels 2-3s. Waiting time.
You have to differentiate 🙂
I’ll compare with my setup and I still have a powerline connection through half the house.
Zapping is just as fast for me as before. For me, changing channels takes less than 0.5 seconds
TV Guide works extremely quickly for me until the grid with the information is displayed, then I can use it straight away. The image then takes approx. 0.5 - 1 second to load.
The home screen takes 1-2 seconds each time, but is then completely loaded immediately. This is slightly slower compared to the old UI.
However, if your overall performance including zapping is really significantly worse, I recommend you go to the settings and then reset the TV-Box via the system. I hope this makes it better.
I would like to hear from other readers of this board what the solution would be.
Just like the black background, switching to white (as usual) is technically no problem at all. It is well known that visually impaired or visually impaired people have problems with black. The sometimes smug and slightly aggressive answers indicate insiders.
I wrote to Swisscom directly and will publish the answer here.

I completely agree with you… that’s very difficult to read… they should at least give you the choice to change it back to before… it was much fresher and much easier to read… it’s so dark now.. Terrible…. I’ll probably have to switch to another provider if they can’t manage it…
… And if you’re unlucky, the other provider will soon switch to dark mode because it’s hip… 🙂

Hello
My app cannot be updated due to a refund or purchase with another one
Apple ID was made.
What do I have to do to get my apps. can update?
The important thing is that you sort this out with the Apple Store then you can download the app normally with your Apple ID.
https://support.apple.com/de-ch/HT203993
Unfortunately you don’t mention which device it is?
Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.
We have RJ45 sockets with Cat in every room in the apartment. 6 cables wired.
All sockets are connected to a gigabit switch and the IB3 takes care of the routing.
TV-Box 1 is connected directly to the IB3, TV-Box 2 is connected to the IB3 via RJ45 in the room via the switch. However, this wiring doesn’t matter, as it worked perfectly before the update.
Zapping and the TV guide are significantly slower than before, zapping is approx. 1.5 seconds under “wrist times pi” conditions. TV guide about the same.
For example, if I want to access YouTube on the home screen, it takes around 12 seconds until I can open the app.
The entire menu navigation on the home screen is much slower for me.
Setting the system to factory settings, as well as resetting it using the reset button, does not bring any significant success.
The same symptoms are present on both TV boxes.
I read that the menu navigation is so slow because more images have to be loaded.
1.) Why isn’t this stored in the cache so as not to load everything every time and
2.) Can you make a setting so that such large image data does not have to be loaded?
..the first intelligent provider who then relies on customer satisfaction again instead of some internal smart designers who find it better to be “hipe”, no matter what the customers think about it, will suddenly be able to win or keep a lot of customers . The smartest way to satisfy many customers is to give them the choice. It may seem like a small thing to some, but it is precisely such small things that make the customer decide whether to buy or not to buy or cancel if there are better alternatives on the market. What Swisscom has done here is simply very bad and dangerous! Choosing white or black would be ok, but presenting you with a product that is EXTREMELY DISTURBING, at least for many people (it’s not just about getting used to it or having a nicer design), is absolutely unreasonable. Dear SWISSCOM…do something urgently about this grievance. If it takes a while until the double-choice solution is available, we can show understanding for a few more weeks, but it’s better not to take it lightly in the hope that there will just be a bit of “murmur” among the customers goes around and she will then get used to it! Also think about the tens of thousands or even millions of customers you have (until now) who don’t comment here. They just make their fist in the bag and then suddenly they’re gone! Please provide the election solution here as quickly as possible. I’ve finished! Thanks
