Which collegamento for home, and with which socket?
Good morning, I am about to take up residence in Lugano 6977. I checked the availability of the collegamento on the internet, on the swisscom website, it tells me that it runs at a maximum of 100 mb/s, so I was thinking of choosing the S contract (at 50, because if it goes to no more than 100, I think it’s useless to spend to get 200 mb/s). My real doubt, however, is that I will have to do some work to have the connection. They told me that in the building they have contracts with UPC. I saw that in the wall there is a strange socket, as if it were zigzag, there is an adapter, which on one side enters the zigzag hole and on the other has an RJ45 connector. Coming from Italy I have no idea what I should ask for, could someone give me some more information or where to look for the various types of prea?
