1 - Swisscom Box 21 - IP1800

This is the case with all newer TV sets and you can also adjust it, so the TV-Box and the TV set also have an independent power saving function.

The device doesn’t actually switch off but instead goes into standby and uses energy unnecessarily even in this state.

My TV box goes into deep standby. I think that’s a good thing. But unfortunately it then no longer reacts to the infrared activation of the universal remote control, so I always have to switch it on using the original remote control. That’s annoying because it’s not easy and not elegant.

Now my question: Can I wake up the Swisscom Box 21 from deep standby with a LAN command?

LAN command ? no idea, but to prevent the Swisscom Box 21 from being in deep sleep :

go to Home > Settings > TV-Box > Save Energy > Sleep Status (2nd tab) > select “Sleep Mode” (recommended)
