Access to the Internet-Box administration interface impossible

Good morning,

Since today, I have been unable to access the administration interface of my Internet-Box. The address 192.168.1.1 returns to me:

I am able to ping the box:

Sending a ‘Ping’ 192.168.1.1 request with 32 bytes of data:
Response from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:
Packets: sent = 4, received = 4, lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate loop duration in milliseconds:
Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 1ms, Average = 0ms

And I am able to browse the Internet without any apparent problems.

Sending a ‘ping’ to google.com [172.217.19.14] with 32 bytes of data:
Response from 172.217.19.14: bytes=32 time=6 ms TTL=57

Approximate loop duration in milliseconds:

I should point out that I deactivated the DHCP server integrated into the box and replaced it with my own DCHP server installed on a Synology server.

I also tried to connect to it using another computer and even the iPhone app “Internet-Box” is not able to find it on the network.

The address of the Internet-Box is not assigned by DHCP to my knowledge. And since in any case I am able to ping it and navigate, the gateway is at the expected address. It’s just the administration interface that is not reachable.

I did this two days ago for the same problem. In my opinion, doing a reset every two days is not a viable solution. Thanks for your intervention though!

The box “makes the link” between the external address assigned by SC and your local network where you are the sole master of addressing…

The local address of the box is assigned by the DHCP of your NAS, if you have declared it as a server and you have declared your box as having to receive an address by DHCP.

With 192.168.1.1, chances are you will ping the NAS or another device on your network.

Good morning,

This type of error message can be linked to the antivirus software and in particular to the network parameters, it is necessary to test with not analyzing secure connections, even if a security level warning can be reported, the parameter can be reset to its standard value after the test or connection to the Internet Box.

Best regards
