Hello dear Swisscom community
This week I will install Swisscom TV in my apartment for the first time (Vivo M with 2 TV boxes, fiber optic). A short time parallel to upc cablecom to be able to make a few more comparisons.
Now when I see the content of this update, my anticipation increases even more. I am looking forward to a company in which innovation, product development, support quality and customer appreciation are no foreign words.
Kind regards

Yay improvement in series management! Thank you.
Has anyone already tried improving the series recordings/the possibility of relay recordings?
That is the highlight for me.
And can you explain to me what this function can do:
Long pressing the “Recent” button now allows you to select the desired program from a list of recently used content. Certain content (e.g. replay broadcasts) will only be displayed after a minimum playing time of 2 minutes.
If I have to watch a replay program for 2 minutes so that I can select it with the Recent button, that doesn’t make sense to me. Then I watch it, i.e. I don’t have to select it again via Recent, or what does that mean?
Can someone help me out?
Thank you.
robar
You are now starting to watch a documentary.
But there’s no time to finish watching it because you have an appointment.
In the meantime, the kids come and watch TV.
You come home later and want to continue watching the documentary in peace.
Until now you had to go to the guide or to the station and then look for the broadcast report.
Now you press the Recent button for a long time and a list of the 25 TV posts that were last viewed opens at the bottom of the TV picture. In this list you can then use the arrow keys to go left and right and play the post.
This saves you having to go through the guide and makes your selection faster
(And by the way, you can see whether the kids haven’t watched something they shouldn’t…*ggg)
Exactly, or the annoying problem in another thread where the remote control reacts too “quickly”. Then you accidentally find yourself on live TV again, etc., and have to laboriously look for the recording where you were just watching. Until now it was always possible to jump back there using the Recent key. This has now been expanded (luxury in my opinion, but just as Louis describes it, maybe someone can use it like that).
The thing with the replay is simply that you have to have watched at least 2 minutes in order for it to be included in this list.

Yep, it works perfectly, the most blatant example of Bauer is looking for a single, x-thousand repeats of old seasons are broadcast every week, I have set it to only record season 11 (or whatever it is), and now I have peace and quiet Rest..

Hello everyone
Does this version finally support the WLAN connection or is the additional KIT still required?
Greetings
It is still needed.
WLAN connection between Internet Box and STB: the function is available and can be used. There is a high probability that it will work in many environments. There will be further improvements in the next release for the Internet boxes. After that, there is a possibility that we will officially release it for marketing. Therefore, I still recommend using a LAN cable or a connection kit.
But: the differences in hardware that exist between a router (providing WiFi everywhere for many different devices) and a connection kit (point-to-point connection optimized) will always ensure that a connection kit is better Performance delivers for this task purpose.
Hello everyone.
I really like the update. The series shots are also very well implemented. THANKS!
However, I’m still missing one of the most important functions (probably not just me).
In the penultimate update I found the following text:
A DLNA DMP (player) app is planned at a later date so that content from the PC, NAS or Internet box can also be played on the TV
I was hoping that this was already integrated in this update.
What is the status here? When can we expect this feature?
Thank you very much and kind regards
Marco

The answer you will receive will be that this will come at a later date and will then be communicated accordingly.
Swisscom is certainly not willing to give a date here. And they didn’t promise it for this update either. So just be patient.
After turning it on, I pressed the home button on the remote control. The menu then appeared. You can then navigate horizontally between recordings etc. At first it didn’t respond to pressing the right button. Then the selection jumped wildly to the right and started again from the beginning. When it stopped, the same thing happened when I pressed the left button. I turned the box off and on. After that it went.
In general, I always have little hang-ups. If I’m watching a channel and then want to switch or display the program information, for example, nothing happens. Only after 10-20 seconds does everything work again.
But I have to reset the box first and test how the update behaves. If I still have problems I will report it.
Greeting
Edit: grammar correction
