DanielD Could it be that the 15 MB are no longer up to date? I have just tested this on my end. The e-mail is 20.7 MB in size and arrived at my bluewin address without any problems:
I’ll have to test that too. It’s also possible that they’ve differentiated the send/receive limit with the new mail (25BM/50MB at GMail).
As Swisscom doesn’t publish specifications for its mail service, we’re still feeling our way around this type of problem.
Knowing the size of the message rejected from @Buzuaga61 would help to find out more precisely.

DanielD Just did another test. This time I sent an e-mail with a size of 25.1 MB from my private domain to bluewin.
It was received 20 minutes later:
- Email did not arrive in the bluewin mailbox
- No error message received on the sender address
Conclusion: bluewin apparently stops receiving emails at 25 MB. Emails larger than 25 MB are simply lost. It’s a shame that bluewin doesn’t at least inform the sender.
By the way, my email provider writes:
When sending emails, our servers have a limit of 100MB per email and a maximum of 100 recipients per minute and a maximum of 500 recipients per day.
Please note! Only a few providers allow such large mails! It is therefore quite possible that the recipient will reject such large mails. Most providers support mail sizes between 15 and 50 MB.
So in my test, the fact that the email doesn’t arrive is down to swisscom
