Fezeustie26 Thank you very much. Unfortunately it doesn’t work…

But it works without any problems. In the customer centre, tap on Order replacement SIM, select eSIM, order free of charge and scan the displayed QR code with the new mobile phone, done.

Depending on the mobile phone, you can even copy the existing e-sim from the old one to the new one (transfer), which I did just a few days ago. Otherwise it is as described above, everything is very easy.

With an iPhone in particular, there is no problem copying the estimate from the old one to the new one; it even does itself when transferring data from the old one to the new one. I’ve already checked this on my last 3 iPhones.

Problem solved - it doesn’t work from abroad, you can only switch an e-Sim from the old mobile phone to the new mobile phone in Switzerland.

Thanks for the feedback. It would have been easier for us if you had said straight away that you were abroad. Because this situation is completely different. Reactivating a SIM/eSIM abroad can indeed cause problems. As far as I know, this often doesn’t work, but… the hotline can help in this case. Support should be able to activate a SIM/eSIM itself if necessary if the customer is abroad.
