iPhone using IMAP

Dears,

i have set my Bluewin.ch e-mail over my iphone 15 pro, it works fine to receive e-mails, but frequently, when i send some e-mails, thy are stuck at the outbox! no matter what i do, restart or resend or anything, at that point when it is stuck, i receive a request to enter my password, even though it is without any doubts correct, it keeps popping up asking for a password!

when i leave it for sometime, delete the outbox e-mail, then everything goes normal. so it seems that i can receive smoothly e-mails, but sending them not all are passing through.

i have tried to delete everything and start over again, but the same issue is there.

any idea what possibly could be wrong?

i got the same settings without any problem, but sometimes it is not working!

the only difference i can spot is the port No. mine is (587) while on the site smtpauths.bluewin.ch (Port 465).

would that be of any effect?

Thank you, the port 587 was configured with SSL.

now i have changed it Port Number 465 with SSL.

a test e-mail works fine, lets see in few days if this resolves the issue. Thank you for your kind response
