TV Box 5

Hello together

I installed the new TV Box 5 a few weeks ago. Since then it has taken over two and a half minutes to start up the TV. After the blue still image “blue TV”, the following message appears on the screen: “Loading current data”. This then takes another minute or so. I have already called telephone support three times, but so far no-one has been able to solve the problem.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

You may also need to switch the box from energy-saving mode to sleep mode:

1. Press Home on the remote control

2. Navigate to the top left on the cogwheel and press OK

3. Navigate to TV Box at the top and press OK

4. Select Save energy at the bottom and press OK

5. Select Sleep mode at the top and press OK

6. Select the Sleep modes (Recommended) checkbox and activate with OK.

7. Select Save at the bottom and save with the OK button.

It should now be much quicker to switch on.

And then, as @Doremi already wrote, switch the box on and off using the On/Off button. If the box is disconnected from the power supply, it must start up again completely and this takes time.

You have given me the ultimate tip, thank you very much. Since I made the supporter setting as you suggested, it works again as before. Super!

I’m just surprised that the supporters on the hotline don’t know these things.
