moving from email basic to email light | Swisscom Community
You must first ensure that none of the… accounts use more than 1 GB of space for storing emails. Otherwise it cannot be converted into light e-mail without blocking the sending/receiving of messages.
This verified, it will be necessary to transfer/transmit the two additional email addresses by creating two new logins.
See [help for modifying the e-mail account](https://www.swisscom.ch/fr/clients-prives/aide/e-mail/compte-subscription.html#acc-yybNog%5Bselected%5D %5B%5D=2&acc-J-vP8g%5Bselected%5D%5B%5D=1). Submit an email account.
Once only the main address remains, you can change the basic e-mail subscription to light e-mail (see changing subscription in the help).

Thank you DanielD for this very useful advice.
An additional question on the same topic:
One of the email addresses that I want to remove from my webmail was used by my wife (who also has her own Swisscom account).
How to transfer your email address (and their email content) to your personal account with your own Mail light?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello @Biefreupio67
You need to know if your wife has an internet/mobile subscription associated with her own Swisscom account, the solutions being different.
If yes, she can upgrade her light e-mail subscription to a basic e-mail subscription at 2.90 per month (5 addresses) before you can transfer the address at home to her Swisscom account. In this case the mail limit before transfer is 15 GB.
If no, you must first ensure that the mail volume is less than 1 GB before transferring the e-mail account to a new Swisscom login. Your wife will therefore have two email addresses with two separate Swisscom logins.
Note that the second option is also possible in case of yes, but she does not want to pay the 2.90 for the basic e-mail.
