@Plickaunne44

Stuck picture mostly has to do with the connection to the Internet box and rarely with the TV.

It would be interesting to find out exactly how the TV-Box is connected to the Internet box.

The various questions are not about bullying, but about finding out what problem might be.

the TV box always switches off and the picture flickers

Disconnect all devices (Internet box and TV-Box and also the TV itself!) completely from the power for about 2 minutes and see if it’s good (actually it should be)

UPDATE: After checking, a Swisscom employee says that this is related to the update and is unfortunately the case on Android devices. Is it still possible, Swisscom? This was one of the reasons for Swisscom, because it made zapping really pleasant. This update is concerning.

Hopefully many will come forward to offer further updates. Weak, in my opinion.

@Haubiogi72

Zapping with a preview image had a low priority during the update and was not forced, and that is what we were told as testers.

Maybe that will come back later. Maybe a real picture in picture was also desired.

My experience with the preview image was that you could see something, such as whether advertising was still running, but not much else.

Ok, thanks for the answer.

I just find it strange that people aren’t informed. And it’s particularly useful for advertising and doesn’t bother anyone because you don’t have to zap.

@Haubiogi72 Picture in Picture is currently no longer available, that’s right. With the latest Android version, we are currently checking whether and how we can offer the function again in an improved version. I can’t promise anything about this, but there is no decision to stop offering the feature permanently.

Unfortunately, my Swisscom Box 21 has not yet received an update, although Swisscom wrote to me that the update will be available from September 10th. I’ve tried a few times to switch the box on and off and remove the cable, but nothing.

It doesn’t mean “on” but “from”.

Hello

how can I update the remote control? Unfortunately I can neither select the blue update button nor go forward or back?? Does anyone know a workaround??

Hello @Keumiolde64

By simultaneously pressing buttons 1 and 3 for 3 seconds (the LED on the remote control lights up red) and restarting the Swisscom TV-Box, the remote control is reconnected.

Lesen, was auf dem Bildschirm steht.

@Keumiolde64

How does the LED on the remote control behave when you press it? Does it glow white or flash red? Which screen are you stuck on? What does it say?

Could you please try the following:

- Make sure your distance from the TV box is no more than 3 meters away

- Remove the remote control battery for 10 seconds and then reinsert it.

- Press 1&3 until the FB flashes red

If this doesn’t work, you can always try a hard reset by pressing the paper clip on the bottom of the box for 2 seconds. (Please make sure that the box is then connected with an Ethernet cable)

Let us know if and how you were able to solve the problem.

Does this problem also occur for those who already have an Android update?

According to the hotline, which I finally reached after waiting 45 minutes, there is an official problem. We have to wait.
