I received your letter. It’s an outrageous surcharge for an additional service that I/we don’t have at all

want/will use. As I saw, the additional TV-Box can also be purchased for CHF 99.00.

I would like to buy these because I/we will not be using any other devices. Thank you very much for your feedback.

Kind regards

Hi @Depangeiff59

We are here in the Customers Helping Customers Forum - we are not Swisscom, we are customers like you.

I would therefore ask you to remove your personal data (customer number) again (on the gear wheel at the top right => edit post)

Unfortunately, buying a TV box does not replace solving multiroom - so you would still have to solve multiroom if you want to use several boxes.

We have exactly 2 televisions and don’t want 6, so we find it a complete impudence, actually a mess, that the second television now costs us an exorbitant 98% more (from 5.– to 9.90)

But the monthly Swisscom bill won’t be 98% more expensive - will it?

What’s new about this subscription other than the exorbitant rental price. For what do I need a subscription for five televisions in an apartment with two televisions. Dear Swisscom or dear Mr. Thomas Buschor (signed the letter to customers), you are discriminating against a group of people with this surcharge and this is not okay! What’s a two-person household with 5 TVs supposed to do? Does this even exist? But the majority have two TVs. I will be canceling all of my Swisscom subscriptions after more than 30 years.

Yes and OK.

Could have been done before.

Why only resolve this “threat” now?

I find this automatic subscription adjustment a disgrace. We are considering leaving Swisscom (we have everything with them and pay around 200.00 CHF per month). We have 2 boxes and these are enough for us. Even if the offering is expanded, the program content will not improve. It’s a shame that Swisscom treats customers like this.

Swisscom is screwing over all of its customers. To capitalize there is no price increase until December 31st, 2024 and now this. That is a price increase. But somehow you now have to recoup the 18 million that you have to pay to the ComCo.

This 18 million should be billed to management.

Swisscom could also give every customer with a multiroom a TV box.

But the customers are only there to rip you off.

I find it really sad and shameful.

@JanineZ

I don’t quite understand that, why should we pay more if we can’t use the offer.

Please raise the fees for those who use or want to use more than 1 box. We don’t need that.

You make new out of old, but unfortunately not better, but more expensive.

Why aren’t we so flexible today and adapt subscriptions as needed? If you want more, you should pay more.

We don’t want to pay more because we don’t need it. Too bad

Last week I received a message from Swisscom that the multiroom option for an additional device would be discontinued. Under the title “Latest subscriptions” I am being sold a cost increase from previously CHF 5.00 to CHF 9.90 per month. Say and write a Teuerung of 98% for no additional service (I only need one additional box and not 4). I think it’s time to think about changing provider.

@JanineZ, @ThomasS

I have the blue Internet S (40) subscription and received the letter today that my subscription is being changed to blue Internet S (100).

I have a moderately good internet connection. Will the line be checked “ex officio” by Swisscom when this change occurs, or do I have to report somewhere?

Thanks and greetings

@Chehantaust37 the change in user access happens automatically

Your line looks good, not perfect 6 CRC in 8 days,

Subsequent ADDITION: but compared to the measurements a year ago (last post from you) it looks miserable now.

Values: min (0 CRC) max. (500 CRC) per DAY.

The SNR is not OK Perfect would be 6.0/6.0!

CRC=Uncorrectable error.

You already have 100Mbit/s router access.

But if you have problems with your Anschluss, you can

You can contact Tel: 0800 800 800 or via the contact form here turn around.

There is currently a problem (problems with forms).
