Calendar in Swisscom

  • Hello folks

Here’s a question that’s probably pretty simple for many of you. Can I create a calendar in Swisscom and then export it to Outlook or Google, for example? If so, how should I accomplish this?

    • No, just forget the Swisscom calendar and the Swisscom contact directory, these are purely web-mail internal directories and cannot be synchronized with anything.

      The convenient concept is:

      - Do not use Bluewin Web Mail at all

      - Instead of Bluewin-Web-Mail on the PCs, use a fully equipped mail program, if you want it to be free, use “Thunderbird” and on the mobiles use the mail apps already pre-installed by the manufacturer

      - Store calendars and contacts in a central account with Microsoft or Google and synchronize them with all your devices and mail programs at the same time

This way, you always automatically have the same full access to your contacts and calendar on all your devices.

The best synchronization for calendars is offered by iCal (apple). Google export always lags, it can even take up to 24 hours to update on all devices.

    Hi @Preirauzau50

Interesting, I migrated away from the iCloud calendar about half a year ago for this reason, among other things 😉.

@Hafliweuch82 If I were you, I would check whether you already have an account with one of the providers mentioned and give it a try. They all have advantages and disadvantages, at least I can’t choose a “best” one 😉

Everyone with an Android mobile device already has an existing Google account, which is usually the easiest thing to do for synchronization.

If you really want to use Outlook and not Thunderbird as your email program on your PC, it is usually easier with a Microsoft account.

By the way, my own solution is a Google account - although I don’t even have an Android on my mobile devices, only Apple devices, which, by the way, can easily and perfectly synchronize contacts and calendars with a Google account 🙂

Do you mean the Bluewin calendar in webmail?

You have to report this to the hotline, they have to fix it, it happens here and there
