Speed limited to 4g for multi-device SIMs?

  • Good morning,

I bought an HTC 5G hub modem.

When I put a Multi-Device SIM card in, I am in 4G and not 5G. In the same place, my iphone with the main card is on 5G.

I tried putting my main card in the modem, which went to 5G, then went back to 4G when I turned on the iPhone which usually hosts the main card.

Since then, it’s impossible to have 5G in the modem, even if you put the main card back in.

Is there a 4G limitation for Multi-Device cards?

      Hello Schummessio28

The problem may be: if your device was not purchased in Europe, there may be frequency band compatibility issues.

Switzerland uses different frequency bands for 5G networks compared to other countries. Make sure the HTC 5G Hub you are using supports the 5G frequency bands used in Switzerland.

Another error: if you ordered a Multi Device Option Watches for 5 Fr, the multi Sim only delivers 4G, and the internet speed is reduced.
