Questions for owners of the internet box 4 before I decide to order mine:

-WAN

--Possible to freely change the external DNS server and not use this swisscom one?
--VPN server integrated into the box?

-LAN

--NAT options and port forwarding available?

-Wifi
--Connection time range restrictions by device?

-DHCP
--Possible to reserve specific internal IPs according to MacAddress?
--Possible to freely change the internal DNS server? (to use PiHole or AdGuard for example)

-Monitoring
--SNMP option available?
--DPI option available?

If these options are not available I think I would take the Zyxel AX7501 instead (which does all that)

every time I receive an email that the IB-4 has been updated, my entire network crashes and I have to turn off my box, wait 1 minute and everything restarts…

And even today after a restart it is impossible to reach the login page.

It’s becoming really annoying with buggy updates!

it is better to not turn off the Internet-Box 4, but to logically restart it
