With Swisscom blue TV you now have M, L and X blue Play included in your subscription. Whether premium series, Swiss films, children’s programs, exclusive TV hits or international classics: In the new blue Play video library you can enjoy popular content from well-known media libraries free of charge and ad-free - without any geoblocking.

Play Suisse, SRG’s new streaming platform, can also be accessed via blue Play. The popular series, films and documentaries from all language regions of Switzerland open conveniently in the Play Suisse app, for which you only have to log in once. How to create your free Play Suisse login

Highlights at blue sporting events

Another optimization affects all football fans: If you want to see the goals scored or the penalty missed at a blue sporting event again, you can now do this with just one click. Jumping to the start of the game or live is also very easy with the new highlight playmarks.

TV and Smart Home

The TV update also has something in store for smart home enthusiasts: The TV-Box can now be switched on and off via Swisscom Home App. You can also assign smart home scenes to the colored buttons on the remote control and, for example, dim the light with the remote control.

What do you think of the new products? Do you have any questions or suggestions? As always, we look forward to your comment.

@Gaeilgeoir I’ve already watched some old crime shows in the new blue play 😉 Clearly an enrichment, but I’ve also used the sports highlights function diligently. It is important that the marker is placed correctly by blue Sport, namely at least 20 seconds before the goal. 😉 But the last few days have been pretty good 😉

@roku73 I can only confirm that I also saw a few episodes of “Derrick” or “the Inspector” but also children’s series from the 70s. Anyone who likes it. I belong to it. But of course there is also newer content. Content from other language regions can also be interesting.

I don’t have high hopes for it yet. Definitely not included with my Vivo M again. I already have 8.156.8 on box 21 but I should take out a subscription.

OT: @JoelV Do you have contact with the developers of the app for iOS devices? It would be great if they could get the channel numbering correct. If you have a custom channel list, everything is shifted by 1 because it starts with 0. Example in the app says:

0 SRF1

1 SRFtwo

2 SRFinfo

On the box, however:

1 SRF1

2 SRFtwo

3 SRFinfo

Depends on which app you mean. The app on TVs (Samsung / LG) and Android smartphones now offers the function.

For technical reasons, we will not be able to show the full functionality on the iOS App and the Web Client for the time being. The specific restrictions are the following:

  • The Playmarks will not be available on iOS yet and will be delivered at the beginning of 2022.

  • The Playmarks will only be available in the web client for customers who have Replay (either in the basic subscription or via the Replay Light option). For customers who do not have replay (e.g. TV Air Free, inOne S*), the functionality in the web client will be delivered later in May 2022.

The Playmarks and blue Play will already be available on Apple TV with the latest version. There is currently no new information regarding 5.1 Sound. If the latter changes, we will of course also inform you here.

Greeting
