Hello@“x”#38703

This is because spammers can forge the sender number. Swisscom cannot simply block numbers. Otherwise there will suddenly be numbers in the call filter from which I want to receive calls.

@Wiesel

When I receive calls that aren’t blocked by the spam filter, I sometimes check “Google” to see if there’s something there that doesn’t belong to me and then block them.

It’s everyone’s own fault if he/she calls back a number that is completely unknown to him/her.

If it is important, I have an AB where a message can be left.

If not, delete or block the number.

On 4 December 2024, the topic was adapted and it was stated that anonymous calls could also be blocked on mobile phones from 2025. It would be helpful for all of us if two things were clearly stated. When exactly the whole thing will start working and where exactly the service can be activated.

      Black Mamba But that’s not even close to the solution we’re talking about. It’s about blocking on the part of the operator, not the user. What’s more, the solution you describe is not really a solution for the iPhone. With the setting you describe, it affects all phone numbers that are not stored on the mobile phone. The speech in my post refers exclusively to anonymous calls.
