Error when logging into the business telephony app (iOS)

Dear community – does anyone have the same problem?

The 1st-3rd level support staff have been bothering me for 16 days - every time an invitation is sent to me or a user via email/SMS and the correct user ID is entered and “forgotten password” is clicked, the process is stopped ended due to an error.

Funnily enough, it is said that business telephony and business communication are not the same thing - but the download link leads to “business communication” for MacOS and to “business telephony” for iOS.

I would recommend that you contact the Swisscom partner who managed the offer for you or who sold it - in the community it is usually the case, since we are all almost just normal customers, and there is not much help for business telephony apps.

Sorry, I’m being a bit stupid. But maybe you can be a little more specific.

If I understand correctly, you use the inOneKMU product, which would at least fit the setup process.

If you haven’t used the app for a long time or don’t know the password anymore. Do you have to reset this via email link.

Just tested, the email wasn’t sent to me either. Unfortunately it never arrived.

I then deleted the app access in Kundencenter -> Business Telephony -> and recreated it.

Then I received the welcome email with the username.

Same game in the app -> forgot password. This time the link was sent, but it took almost 5 minutes…

Try that once.

But it should be Smart Business Connect Hosted with Mobile App option (Business Communication APP).

You will receive the user data (user name and password) for the login via email/SMS; these are usually triggered on the portal by your Swisscom partner. (the person who sold you the product)

A new password is simply triggered via the portal and your partner can send it to you.

I had problems with the password and apple devices when certain characters like {, $ etc. were present. Then you would simply have to have another password generated.

Correct, I switched from inOne to inOne SME - the main reason is the app with which I get the landline number. always have with you. Theoretically.

As the owner of the number, I can send invitations myself in the portal. The 3rd level said I had to buy a new iPhone (!) - but I have the latest iOS. My colleagues with iPhone X/XI also tested it and received the error.

It can’t be the password. Have already tried all variants. From level 1 to level 3 I had to play through the same thing and they did it too - but people still don’t believe me that it’s something on the Swisscom side.

Well, I’ll just cancel my products with Swisscom.

SMS/email arrives - then you have to click on Forgotten password in the app.

Everything else then happens in the browser interface; Set password, repeat, confirm.

Booom –> error.

I now have an offer from a competitor for SMEs – half the price. Let’s see if Swisscom manages to create a login for me before I switch.

I also think it’s either a bug in the browser you’re using.

Password does not meet guidelines.

Cookie problem.

Or really a bug in the backend.

Small update for everyone who kindly replied and contributed:

Since this afternoon, May 14th, the login into the Business Telephony app has suddenly stopped working. Without having changed anything on my part - but after a phone call with Swisscom this morning.

So it’s not the iPhone, not the other devices or browsers.

Only in “My Profile” does ND – No Display appear as the first name/last name. No way to customize.
The UX of these Swisscom apps is really horrible… or from the 80s 🙂

@Dappaufu36 good that it’s working again - that’s the main thing. Whether there’s a name there or not isn’t all that bad. Otherwise, just ask again if it bothers you.

But I’ve also noticed that, regardless of whether it’s the federal government itself, Swisscom or the post office - they all have really terrible UX, which is a shame. Only the Federal Railway still has a somewhat decent design. 😉
