But honestly - what makes your TV experience so much better with EOS4? The telly is still square and a TV picture is displayed…

Unfortunately, the information is not enough for most people. Then there are always the questions “when exactly will it happen” etc.
As a company you feel under pressure to give a date.

You could inform like this:
“The update is expected to be installed at the end of March”

Last summer there was an update to the Multiroom app from Samsung for Android 10, which resulted in it being no longer possible to use the Multiroom speakers until 14 days ago. 7 MONTHS LONG!
And some are actually making a fuss because they don’t have a new OS and still need the telly 100%.
Not using an expensive product for 7 months and just dusting it off is a problem and not waiting 3 weeks longer for an OS and being able to use a device.
Anyone who knows me here knows that I am very critical of Swisscom, but some people really exaggerate it. As @user109 says “Kindergarten”.

Messages that litter my inbox because of some nonsense that doesn’t solve anyone’s problem or help anyone. That’s actually the purpose here.
Or have you already been able to help someone in the forum with something?
I didn’t write that I depend on using the multiroom app. It was just to show that there are worse things. I am dependent on oxygen and food.
You write; “I just need the telly.” It probably works for you too or do you have a problem with your Swisscom TV?
By the way, respect that you don’t seem to have any apps on your smartphone, then you’re not dependent on “app garbage”.
I’ll deactivate the subscription here so that my inbox will at least stay a little empty.
So, multiroom speakers are not an app. These are (I assume) WLAN speakers, extremely expensive and certainly very frustrating if you simply can’t use them for 7 months.
I think I would have climbed onto the roof of Samsung.
You can also watch the TV with the current OS.
but since you’re just trolling around here, I’m sure you don’t care 💩-never mind 😄
