Piesurauth77- Consulting Wikipedia is good but not everyone (yet) has access to the Internet… This also goes for films, but I don’t think it is possible for TV films. Also imagine people who don’t have a tablet or smartphone!

As I’ve probably written before, there’s no shame in admitting when you’re wrong. Admitted fault is half forgiven! So, Swisscom, go back as quickly as possible, especially since your generics have improved a lot for some time. If we want to consult the “biography” of this or that actor, we can always do so, but after the broadcast of the show.

What’s new

…..

• The dark display improves readability.

I just tested it and frankly I’m even more disgusted than with OS 4.

It’s dark, monotonous, boring, depressing and the white text flickers and hurts my eyes.

A zero point once again…

Obviously no one at Swisscom reads the Community comments.

Please, give us the choice… There are other “improvements” to make than going from white to black…

For the moment I haven’t yet read many comments from people liking this “new thing”!

P.S. I hadn’t yet read Lapinou’s comment which “fortunately” asks that we have the freedom to choose.

Hello everyone,

@[deleted] is indeed right. It is no longer possible to change the background color of the TV Guide under OS4.

Swisscom has taken this measure following numerous comments we have received on this subject in the past.

Have a nice weekend

Bad decision… It makes me want to test the other operators because it tires my eyes so much….

I clicked on the link received and realized that there is an impossible mish-mash in this subject… I don’t know at all where I am… There is no order chronological… This reflects the current state of Swisscom TV!

I believe I have already written about Swisscom’s “conclusions”. Once again I would like to know where the comments of people who didn’t like the old presentation are… I have been participating in the Community for a while now and even for a while now and I have never nothing seen on this subject…

The worst thing is that with this fundamental change, there have been other changes and disappearances of functions which impair access to the programs.

For example, have people who prefer a black background also asked for the elimination of the presentation of the list of programs to watch and/or record? We can no longer eliminate the thumbnails that accompany the programs (4 per screen instead of ten). As most often these vignettes have nothing to do with the program in question, it is useless… Provide me with a photo of the federal palace in Bern for a program on a distant country or - very often - that of pyramids is completely “stupid”!

P.S. I don’t understand anything about checking the spelling either… I wrote “(they) pejorent” and now the word is underlined in red… I checked. The spelling is correct. Note that “Swisscom” is also underlined in red… and the same goes for “méli-mélo”… The word “méli-mélo” is also underlined in red!!!!

If I understood correctly, the black background is only necessary for the quality of the background images everywhere in the EPG.
These images have no intérêt and often don’t even relate to the subject.
What we expect from the EPG is clear and complete information from the programs.

Really nothing more but above all nothing less.

Some say “if it doesn’t suit you, just change” (leave Swisscom)…

Swisscon is not a dictatorship and yet!

by imposing purchased devices on us (sometimes in the form of perfidious gifts) that can only be used at home,
causing us to lose our recordings and our purchased films,
    and our telephone directory…

Swisscom makes contract termination a costly and painful procédure de divorce…to get not much better (the only argument).

If Swisscom is not really a dictatorship, it is a strange ball and chain.
