To my knowledge, the CAA option does not allow you to have a fixed IP but only not to share it with others. The address remains dynamic, so a DNS service such as noip is the only solution to always remain reachable.

Good morning,

I am looking to activate the CAA option on a multi-device SIM card, is there a charge for this option? Can you please contact me to do this?

Thanks in advance

Ciao,

var 1) you call Swisscom and they do

var 2) you wait until a Swisscom operator comes to read your message and contact you. Greeting

Good morning,

I would also like to have a public IP. But after several calls, I feel like no one knows what I’m talking about.

Is it possible to do what is necessary?

Cordialement

If necessary, ask the Hotline for level 2 (technical)

The option name is CAA for Corporate Application Access

The services offered by the CAA option for more details, consult this section

CAA (swisscom.ch)

- Using Packet Switched Data technology
(PSD), Corporate Application Access allows a
IP connection between portable device and Internet
via the GSM, UMTS and LTE network.

Swisscom does not offer an option to obtain a fixed IP address

Hello 👋

Would it be possible to also activate the CAA option on my Zyxel router?

I’m looking to have a public IP to have access to my little synology nas 😢

@Wirdman

To obtain a fixed IP on a router, you need a mobile subscription with CAA option, which can be obtained from the service (Business / Enterprise).

But since the CAA option is practically no longer available at Swisscom 🙄

It’s best to get the CAA option from another ISP.
