@Pitchblack73

You have to read the texts correctly or interpret them correctly:

Advertising: inOne mobile go, unlimited surfing, telephony and SMS in CH and EU (½)

-> means exactly what is written:

unlimited surfing (40GB EU, then throttling to 128kbit/s), telephony and SMS in the CH and EU = unlimited calls within CH and within the EU.

It doesn’t say to the EU (Switzerland is not in the EU). Unlimited telephony is included, e.g. calls from Zurich to Bern etc., and e.g. calls from Cologne to Hamburg etc.

However, you are right that the inOne mobile XS includes a telephony quota of 30 minutes to EU.

Best regards!

Oh man, people! Please read my first post correctly, it’s not that difficult, right?

That’s exactly what I meant. By interpretation I have described what the average, non-informed consumer thinks when he reads this unclearly worded advertisement.

My reaction to that was:

"_WTF?!? With the inOne mobile

Only with the additional package Intercontinental Pack for a ridiculous 70.- is the magic word “after” added - as with the offer inOne mobile premium - it says unlimited telephony CH to EU/Western Europe and USA/Canada."

So actually exactly your comment… which is superfluous if you had read mine correctly… Pfff

For example, below the new subscriptions it says:

International calls

Unlimited calls from Switzerland to the EU, USA and Canada

Per month 20.–

Can be added to the new subscriptions. Multidevice is also available from €3 per month. However, this only starts with the Go package.

So there is no need for an Intercontinental Pack.

The only catch with the basic is that the data is limited to 2 GB.

But you can also ask it the other way around. How many of those who have a flat rate subscription today, which is around two thirds of customers, rarely or never need the included minutes from Switzerland to abroad.

Thanks, that’s exactly how I feel. Above all, I need data abroad and I have to be reachable on my number. I hardly ever make phone calls abroad. I have 2 contacts in Germany and they also have Facebook and Whatsapp.

The inOne L costs me 120.- without the device.
The inOne mobile Go then costs me 80.- (there is no longer a discounted device here)

Savings for me 40.- a month. And if the 100 Mbit/s isn’t enough for me, I can book Premium Speed for 10 a month and still save 30.

Conclusion from me, thank you Swisscom for the new subscriptions. Finally, when I’m on vacation, I no longer have to worry about whether and which data package I need to book.

The new subscriptions are also an advantage for me.

I have a inOne Mobile XL and will switch to Premium.

It’s not cheaper, but it has more performance, which I will use.

I live near the border and have always been annoyed that every now and then people suddenly switch to a foreign network and as a result an inclusive roaming day is wasted. With Android you cannot permanently choose your preferred network. It drops out every time you restart.

So the new subscription is great. Telephony TO EU? If I do it via WhatsApp, it won’t cost any more. And if I do need to make a phone call over the network, I just pay for it individually and it’s still cheaper than if I had it included as a flat rate in the subscription. If all else fails, then the international call option is added for 20 francs - and lo and behold, it’s still cheaper than the previous InOne M.

All in all, a good option. I recently looked around for other providers because, for example, the surcharge of 10 francs on the subscription was not automatically reversed after 24 months, which initially annoyed me. With currently 1 InOne M and 3 InOne S subscriptions in the family, we will save a total of 60 francs per month after switching.

Maybe I’m the only one who travels outside the EU and USA…. in terms of good accessibility, I think it would be cool if, for example, Worldwide had a 128 kbit/s flat fee.

I don’t need to watch videos all the time, but I don’t want to be reachable worldwide via email and Whatsapp.

See T Mobile. If you pay extra, you get more speed.

That’s what I call carefree travel…

@SamuelD

What does it look like with inOne mobile basic and inOne mobile GO with incoming calls if you are in the EU area (example: Gran Canaria/Spain)? Will the customer then incur any costs?

Why is it becoming more expensive?

I am of the opinion that it also costs 200 francs.

With InONE home 180 Fr.

@“x”#33459Another point that couldn’t be answered in the chat.

I’m going on holiday to New Zealand in September, so I’m interested in:

Are 1000 SMS/MMS worldwide still included?

Or will it be abolished without replacement?

So far the following applied:

Outside EU/Western Europe
Send SMS and surf

SMS, MMS
1000 SMS per month
included

Value-added services and special numbers are excluded. After the inclusive units have been used up, SMS will be charged according to the standard roaming tariff.

Data

100 MB per year
included

Surf a total of 100 MB during a year. Additional data packages available at cockpit.swisscom.ch. Audio/video only recommended to a limited extent.

SMS per month. surfing per year

The inclusive volumes apply in all countries outside the EU/Western Europe. Excluded are: Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Burundi, Djibouti, French Polynesia, Guam, Cuba, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Namibia, Nepal, New Caledonia, East Timor, Zimbabwe.

The included volumes are not valid on ships and airplanes.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, this is no longer possible. SMS are no longer included outside of Europe. I think that’s really a shame.

Outside the EU/Western Europe you have 1000 SMS/MMS and 100MB data volume per month included with the inOne mobile go.

Great, I’m glad this was retained!

@mitsui1: That’s not there (yet), that’s why I asked. 🙂

There seems to be an updated version of the exchange conditions:

[https://www.swisscom.ch/content/dam/swisscom/de/res/public/mobile/fenghuang/notes-abowechsel-inonemobilego-de.pdf](https://www.swisscom.ch/content/ dam/swisscom/de/res/public/mobile/fenghuang/notes-abowechsel-inonemobilego-de.pdf)

Found at the bottom of the page: Exchange conditions as of February 24, 2019

[https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/mobile/abos-tarife/inone-mobile.html](https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/mobile/abos-tarife/inone- mobile.html)

The most important:

If the customer wishes to switch to a current subscription within the first 12 months after concluding the contract or extending the contract of his previous subscription, Swisscom will charge a one-time charge of CHF 200 for mobile contracts and a one-off charge of CHF 100 for data contracts. After the 12 months have expired, a subscription change to a current subscription is required no costs result.

A subscription change from a inOne (business/XTRA) mobile light or XS to the current subscription is possible at any time free of charge.

If you extend your contract or take out a new subscription without a device (at a reduced subscription price), you can switch to a current subscription free of charge at any time.

Show original language (German)

The most important thing is still the same. You can generally switch to one of the new subscriptions free of charge, unless you received a discounted device less than 12 months ago, in which case the switch costs a one-off fee of 200 francs.

Show original language (German)

I think the new subscriptions are great and will definitely switch at the end of February, just because of my stay in the USA.

The only really illogical thing about it is the abolition of EU roaming while at the same time not including international phone calls. So in fact I can make calls across the border across Europe, but in Switzerland do I have to pay extra for a call to Germany? So should I briefly cross the border for longer conversations in the future? 😜 Here the strategists might have to scratch their heads again… Everything else: Well done!

I also like the updated contract change conditions! My inquiry yesterday revealed that you have to stay on Premium for a year, and today it looks like you can upgrade for a month (although in my case the “Intercontinental” package is sufficient) and back again. 👍🏻
