I’m going on holiday to New Zealand in September, so I’m interested in:

Are 1000 SMS/MMS worldwide still included?

Or will it be abolished without replacement?

So far the following applied:

Outside EU/Western Europe
Send SMS and surf

SMS, MMS
1000 SMS per month
included

Value-added services and special numbers are excluded. After the inclusive units have been used up, SMS will be charged according to the standard roaming tariff.

Data

100 MB per year
included

Surf a total of 100 MB during a year. Additional data packages available at cockpit.swisscom.ch. Audio/video only recommended to a limited extent.

SMS per month. surfing per year

The inclusive volumes apply in all countries outside the EU/Western Europe. Excluded are: Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Burundi, Djibouti, French Polynesia, Guam, Cuba, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Namibia, Nepal, New Caledonia, East Timor, Zimbabwe.

The included volumes are not valid on ships and airplanes.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, this is no longer possible. SMS are no longer included outside of Europe. I think that’s really a shame.

The most important:

If the customer wishes to switch to a current subscription within the first 12 months after concluding the contract or extending the contract of his previous subscription, Swisscom will charge a one-time charge of CHF 200 for mobile contracts and a one-off charge of CHF 100 for data contracts. After the 12 months have expired, a subscription change to a current subscription is required no costs result.

A subscription change from a inOne (business/XTRA) mobile light or XS to the current subscription is possible at any time free of charge.

If you extend your contract or take out a new subscription without a device (at a reduced subscription price), you can switch to a current subscription free of charge at any time.

The most important thing is still the same. You can generally switch to one of the new subscriptions free of charge, unless you received a discounted device less than 12 months ago, in which case the switch costs a one-off fee of 200 francs.

I think the new subscriptions are great and will definitely switch at the end of February, just because of my stay in the USA.

The only really illogical thing about it is the abolition of EU roaming while at the same time not including international phone calls. So in fact I can make calls across the border across Europe, but in Switzerland do I have to pay extra for a call to Germany? So should I briefly cross the border for longer conversations in the future? 😜 Here the strategists might have to scratch their heads again… Everything else: Well done!

I also like the updated contract change conditions! My inquiry yesterday revealed that you have to stay on Premium for a year, and today it looks like you can upgrade for a month (although in my case the “Intercontinental” package is sufficient) and back again. 👍🏻

It’s of course strange that if you’re in the EU, you can make unlimited calls to CH/EU, but not from CH to EU, without an option. So if you want to make calls to the EU and you are near the border, you can hope that your cell phone is already on “roaming”. A completely new situation, where previously just the word roaming raised alarm bells and people even switched their cell phones to flight mode for security reasons because of the threat of horrendous costs

To be fair, it must also be said that this paradoxical situation also applies to other EU countries, including Germany, for example. Whether Telekom, Vodafone etc… calls from DE to EU are not included or only certain minutes are included.

According to the new exchange conditions, is it really the case that within the first 12 months after completion/extension of inOne Mobile S (80 or 60/40 per month with inOne Advantage) a fee of 200 is due when switching to inOne mobile go, which costs exactly the same? Until now, upgrades or crossgrades to a product of the same price were possible free of charge and a fee was only due for downgrades.

The Swisscom Mobile standard tariff for calls to the EU/Western Europe, USA and Canada is Fr. -.60 per minute, billed every 60 seconds.

As soon as the new subscriptions are available, a change to a smaller subscription will be charged a fee of 200 if a subscription was taken out/extended in the last 12 months and a discounted device was purchased. There are no costs involved when changing from, for example, inOne mobile M to the new inOne mobile premium or from a inOne mobile S to a inOne mobile go.

The document still needs to be adjusted.

With the introduction of the new subscriptions, Swisscom is on the right track. Keyword “worry-free subscription”. Unfortunately, the marketing department didn’t do the best job. It cannot and must not be the case that with these subscriptions calls from Switzerland, at least to the EU, are not covered in the basic offer! It doesn’t have to be 300 minutes - my suggestion for the new GO, for example, would be to include 30 calls to the EU per month. Then a switch makes sense - the way it is presented today, existing subscribers who don’t make frequent calls will never switch to GO. Too bad! Swisscom - please talk about the books again!

I wanted to ask whether the data volume of the MultiDevice devices is still limited with the new inOne mobile go in combination with MultiDevice? Until now it was 40GB per MultiDevice. Is there still throttling here or is this limit finally being abolished?

The 40 GB for multidevice no longer applies to the new inOne go. It can be used unlimitedly.
