new MyStrom rule

  • Idea for a new way to define rules (which I still miss). One of the goals of MyStrom is to reduce standby power consumption. Because power consumption is constantly measured. Is the rule definition: switching off after a time t below the consumption value W desirable.

    • Oh right.

I don’t need the Home App.

But it is a basic function of the myStrom switches. This function can be activated either via the MyStrom app or MyStrom Web Login on the switch itself under “Save energy”.

According to my understanding, this should actually be possible under the Home App. If this weren’t the case, I honestly wouldn’t really be surprised 😄

This function already exists. The time is simply set to 300s. Performance can be defined. So all you have to do is make the time adjustable.

The bfe also found 5 minutes to be practical.

When I create a <new rule> in Home App under SmartHome/Rules, I have the following to choose from:

    - at a specific time or

    - During my vacation

In both cases, no performance (with a fixed time of 300s) can be defined.

Where is this function hidden, if it already exists?

Well, as I see it, unfortunately that’s not the case. -> Integration of this function into the Swisscom HomeApp should be possible without any problems. I’ll be happy if this becomes possible in one of the upcoming updates 😉

    Hi @Rehli

Thank you for your suggestion. We would be happy to include this function in our catalog of requirements.

We cannot guarantee implementation, but we find the case very interesting.

    Best regards, Roman
