Here are the screenshots. Under “Home” there are the categories “Worth watching today”, “Continue watching”, “Coming soon” and “New TV series”. Until recently there was also a section called “Replay”.

My question was why I don’t see her anymore. As I said, it’s about the app and not about the TV display.

Your problem is not entirely clear to me, I have TV Air Replay activated for the selected channels and if I then scroll back into the past in the TV Guide then I can play these channels, see picture below.

Or do you mean the function where you can set which stations should receive replay?

Of course I can go back under TV Guide, but it’s not the same. For example, under Replay you could see all the comedies from the last week or you could search for documentaries on a specific topic. But apparently this function no longer exists. Very unfortunate. I don’t want to have to comb through the TV Guide every day.

    Hello everyone

Just so we’re all talking about the same thing here; This is about the “Replay Guide” which was previously found in the iOS TV Air app under ‘Home’. The TV-Box has nothing to do with me.

    Here is the official statement:

Due to technical adjustments, the Replay Guide can be used in the TV Air app. will no longer be displayed.

    > Unfortunately, I cannot answer at the moment whether this will come back in the future, i.e. with the next generation of the TV Air app.

@EdgarJ But Swisscom is already clear that it has killed one of the best functions in the app!

You can’t really search for something properly with the TV guide. At most, that’s enough to watch the previous daily news.

I really hope that Swisscom will come up with something. The function worked for a long time and suddenly it no longer works?

    An absolute disappointment for me!

There are obviously more theorists than practitioners among the Swisscom programmers. The shutdown of this replay guide cannot be logically explained…

    Hello @Hogi & fellow sufferers

First of all, don’t kill the messenger 😉 For me personally, it’s understandable and understandable that users are disappointed, even if I didn’t have an Android that never had this function in the first place. Has the message been received that users would like to have this feature again? Yes. Can we change anything about it at the moment? Unfortunately no. Will there be a replay guide again in the future? I can’t answer at the moment, but I assume that the tenor has been heard.

The problem has nothing to do with incompetent programmers or because you want to take something away from users. I will not and cannot delve into the technical details of why it is the way it is. However, I will do my best to ensure that the feature will rise again in the near future like a phoenix from the ashes.

    Hello @skud

Statements like this are always easier said than done. Of course it would work if you put all the resources together, ignore all other problems, ignore business decisions and focus entirely on TV-Air. Does SC really do this just because some users complain? I think you can give yourself the answer… Of course it’s uncool to remove a feature like that and as @EdgarJ already commented, the reactions are understandable. However, picking on it any further will not achieve much. Letting off some steam is ok, but setting it to a constant stream of vomit is less effective…

    Hello EdgarJ

Thank you for the open answer and that you will work towards a solution. As mentioned, the feature was really popular and appreciated. But it is also difficult to understand why functions that once worked are suddenly no longer available.

Let’s hope that a solution can be found and, above all, that the comments don’t become even more hateful. That doesn’t do anyone any good.

    • It’s understandable. I assume Swisscom did this to benefit the paid offers. You can still search there…

Constant stream of vomit? I think I don’t have to assume that. I commented on this exactly twice…

You can say it all you want, but unfortunately it’s not the first time that Swisscom has switched off a good function, which of course doesn’t suit some customers. And if Swisscom is reading this - which I hope it is - then it’s all the better that they realize that not everything that is implemented is always good. This is what I meant by practitioner/theorist. And if a great function was previously in use for months and now it suddenly says “it’s not technically possible”, the layperson naturally also asks the question why it doesn’t work, even though it used to be technically possible.

So I now hope that Swisscom will pick up the puck and listen to its customers.

    Hello @skud

Please note what was already written above in my post “Hello @Hogi & fellow sufferers…”

We read along and we hear you. But we don’t have a switch (or “puck”) with which restrictions in use, whether caused technically or not, can be easily reversed. If it were that easy, this post would already be closed. Unfortunately, reopening the topic from the beginning doesn’t do much good at this point. As I said, it’s our turn as already written above.

@McDonald: the function has been removed from the iOS client, regardless of which subscription you log in with. This affects all iOS users of the TV Air app. I’m referring to to TV Air with free vs. Swisscom TV, or TV Air Mobile subscription. Otherwise it’s not clear what is meant by “…You can still search there…”. The replay guide on the TV box is still available.

I meant pushing video on demand from Swisscom. What was previously easy to do from an IOS cell phone with selection at the genre level or direct search now has to be laboriously done using the box with the remote control. Funnily enough, there is the convenience of searching for films that have to be paid extra. For me, this is a clear step backwards and I suspect evil, because otherwise I can’t see any sensible motivation for this step. But still, thank you very much for the answer and query

    Hi @McDonald

It’s still not 100% clear to me what exactly you mean by that. Could you give a specific example?

In terms of functionality, the next generation of Apps & Web will incorporate a number of improvements, including presentation, so that the experience between Box and TV Air is as close as possible to one another. However, it will never be 100% because the focus is always on the box first. TV Air therefore always “lags” a little behind.

    Show original language (German)

Thank you for the query. I meant that the feature on the iPhone makes it easy to browse films sorted by genre in the replay. It is correct that it still works on the box. But it is a step backwards. I can buy a film on demand if I’m too lazy to search with the remote control… But I’ve come to terms with it. When switching to new operating system versions, you also have to part with tools you have grown fond of.
