It’s not that elegant, but if you press the skip button (> [+30s forward]) between 16 (=480s) -19 (=570s) times you have the same effect, since the commercial breaks are usually the same length . On average these are 9 (=540s) -10 (=600s) minutes long. I always do it this way because it’s faster than spooling and it works quite well.

Anything that supports more flexible jumping would be nice.

It might also be possible to support voice commands, and since the “skip advertising” command probably cannot be implemented, it might simply have to be “skip 6 minutes”.

One can actually only agree with that. Also HDR and DD5.1 ​​on Netflix. It’s a bit disappointing when UHD and HDR were announced 20 months ago… Plus there are still problems with UHD channels. Stuttering, sound dropouts… That was pure marketing nonsense.
