Alternative to Internet Box 2

Good day

I moved into a beautiful new apartment with a fiber optic connection.

Now the fiber optic connection in the fuse box even has a power supply and Ethernet lines to all rooms.

But now the Internet box 2 doesn’t fit in the fuse box and I don’t want to have the cable hanging open in our wardrobe.

What are the options here?

One possibility is the installation below as in the picture if the LAN network is suitable for it!

Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.

Thanks for the quick reply. But that means that to the new location of the router I would have to have 2 Ethernet lines back to the fuse box, 1x as a fiber replacement and 1x to the switch for the other rooms. I currently only have 1x Ethernet, the second would have to be pulled in (splitting the cable to 2× 100 mbit is out of the question). If a cable has to be pulled, doesn’t it make more sense to pull an optical fiber to the router’s location?
