The account simply needs to be integrated as an IMAP mailbox.
Then sent and deleted emails also end up on the server.
You can also manage subfolders.
And why are the settings not usable?
Outlook 2016 is explicitly offered:

The problem was solved using Swisscom My Service remote maintenance:
In Bluewin webmail there were additional folders under “My Folders”, which meant that the emails sent in Outlook were not in the same folder (mails sent from webmail came after “Sent Items” and emails sent from Outlook came after “ Sent”).
First, the folders under “My Folders” had to be deleted in Bluewin webmail and then the account had to be deleted and set up again in Outlook.
I think it’s worth taking a quick look at the concept of subscribed IMAP folders and their integration (usually in the advanced settings of mail programs).
If you also want to transfer the mailbox to a cell phone or tablet, the problem will arise again.
Usually the inbox is never a problem, but all other folders usually vary in their default settings depending on the mail program and device used.
The task is then to use a “Sent”, “Draft” and “Deleted” folder, which can be used by all mail programs at the same time.

In Outlook 2016 you can no longer assign folders.
It is always impressive how in this forum the so-called “experts”, “VIP” and “mentors” with their hundreds or thousands of posts write down an affective answer after just a few minutes, which sometimes reveals nothing other than arrogance.
The constant superiority in the undertone of this forum reflects the level of civil society that reads free newspapers.
The problem-solving component of the occasionally trivial texts of the know-it-all and opinionated dominators, often full of spelling errors, is often negligible. Quantity instead of quality.
The My Service contact, however, was a good and friendly experience.
Well, first of all, you are actually right that the corresponding function is no longer available in Outlook 2016, I just checked.
(Which I actually never ‘affectively’ expected, since it’s completely unbelievable that Microsoft simply removed this essential function…)
However, your moaning is quite inappropriate considering that in your initial post you did not specifically describe which otherwise obvious solution no longer works in the case of Outlook 2016. Apparently you knew which solution would normally be “in demand”.
If you post articles here in the hope of receiving free help that other people provide in their free time, then you shouldn’t make things unnecessarily difficult for them, but rather put all the relevant information on the table in as much detail as possible.
Hello Marcus
I have a similar problem. I used to work on pop. But then switched to IMAP. This is set up with the help of the Swisscom Assistant. Most of the time everything works. In Outlook 2016 I still have my “personal folders” and now the folders with the IMAP entries. All new emails are stored there.
But now I have noticed that depending on how I send an email, for example directly from Word, the email ends up in the old folder again. So not in the IMAP folder.
Do you know where I can make which settings so that this also goes into the IMAP folder?
Thanks and regards, Roger
