Nomadic use

Hello everyone. I just heard about this nomadic use on SRF espresso. However, Swisscom refuses to provide me with the SIP credentials. Should I take my phone abroad and plug it into the PSTN there or do I really have to download the centro grande firmware to read out this information there? Really tedious stuff like that at swisscom

I think you’re mixing something up. With the Internetbox Plus you can somehow manage the SIP data?

Nomadic benefits mean that you have to make sure to give the correct address in the event of damage and not where it is posted. This mainly has to do with ALL IP / fiber optics and with the costs if the fire brigade / police show up at the wrong place, since in the future you can “plug in” the router anywhere. At least that’s how I understood it.

Good day

How can I use the IP landline connection nomadically in Switzerland?

Does this require a software application?

With which devices is this use possible? Mobile phone, PC, notebook or other landline telephone?

How do you have to proceed technically?

I searched for it for some time, but couldn’t find any domestically relevant information.

Thank you for some basic technical information.

Best regards

Roland

I can make calls anywhere in the world using my landline number. Requirements:
-local SIP data generated in the Intenetbox
-Smartphone with softphone app configured with the above SIP data
-Smartphone with internet access and VPN connection to your home internet box
-complete
