@WalterB yes, but that’s exactly what doesn’t work.
I select the <number, click save and the box also says it’s saved but it still stays at 203
@Anonymous, @WalterB,
I have already reset the box, restarted it and tried to reach the WebGUI from different platforms via IP (192.168.1.1) or “domain” (internetbox.home). Unfortunately, all variants have failed so far.
The box may automatically install new “stable” firmware as soon as it is available.
I reported the problem once using the form.
Greetings & have a nice evening,
Martin
@mabu1 Send me your phone number or DSL serial number via PM. We’ll take a look at it on Tuesday.

Hello
Beta version has been installed. IB+ without IP telephony
Port forwarding, VPN, fixed IP addresses in the LAN, etc. All settings have been applied.
Almost no errors found so far.
Unfortunately the speed test no longer works?
Greetings Mäni
Is there any error message?
Which internet browser did you try with?
Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.
Maybe some more information. In this firmware we have paid great attention to the topic of “eliminating bugs”. Over time, more and more small bugs accumulate, which only rarely come into play. In the first step, we reduced this by 60-70% or absolutely >100. We will continue to do this in the next versions so that we will keep these bugs to a minimum.
A major focus was also the topic of telephony/DECT. There have been a lot of improvements under the hood. We have also created two new functions, which are not yet activated:
1: As soon as the function is activated, the phone book will automatically be saved in the backend. You can also deactivate this in the router GUI if you don’t want it. We are still clarifying how we will trigger the initial backup. This will ensure in the future that telephone books are no longer accidentally lost in the event of a reset or box replacement.
2: If you replace an Internet box today, you have to register the HD Phones again. This will also happen automatically in the future. But this is a little more complicated and it will only apply to HD phones that were paired with the Internet box after the function was activated. At some point that will probably be everyone.

Does anyone know whether the Gigaset S850HX is not compatible with the Internetbox Standard for some reason? Even with the beta firmware, there is noise on the Gigaset side as soon as the connection is established - and my counterpart keeps hearing himself for minutes. The problem also occurs when all cables are removed from the router (except the power 😉 and the fiber optic cable ).
In the Gigaset forum, the router is referred to as the source for such problems. Is it exactly the other way around in the Internetbox forum (?):smileywink:. Does anyone have any tips? Or is the problem with the beta known and not yet fixed?
Thank you very much for any help…
@Michael G it’s best to connect an analogue telephone or DECT to the IB, if it’s still there IB is defective or S850HX, I don’t have such problems (IBP+Fiber)

I also had to restart the PC once so that all functions worked. What interests me a lot is the point “Smarthome” under applications. What nice things are planned here?
This is probably e.g. to control smart sockets etc.
@Anonymous may be able to provide more information on this.

I have 07.50.29/989 on my IBS and can’t find “applications” (and therefore smart home). I also don’t see the speed test.
Is the former just a feature of the IBP or am I simply looking in the wrong place with my IBS? If someone can post a picture or tell me where I can/should look, then I’ll write THANK YOU…:smileyhappy:
(Both PC and box restarted several times. Checked with Win10 and various current browsers, Android tablet, MAC with Safari.)

This is what it looks like with the Internet Box Plus, unfortunately I don’t have the Internet Box Standard to show. In any case, the IB Standard has no central storage.

Hello Walter
Thank you very much for your very quick response and the picture you took. Things are different with my IBS (picture below).
Does anyone know what can be done? Go back to the current firmware and reinstall the beta again?
[Aside: This isn’t the first problem with this box - when I received the IBS a few weeks ago, I could turn IPv6 ON/OFF, but it didn’t work with a single box with IPv6. Only resetting the IBS to factory settings solved the problem. Maybe a Monday model:smileywink:]
Liäbä Greetings
Michael

Go to * Expert * in your Internet box menu, what does it look like then?
Hello Walter
oh sorry, I forgot to switch to expert mode when creating the image; Certainly not when testing.
It looks like this in expert mode:
From the looks of it, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to do another reset and then install the beta firmware again. Just remember to create a backup of the Internet box on your PC if you have a lot of telephone contacts.
N.B. What exactly appears when you press *Settings* in the Internet Box menu
on the left?
In any case, your menu will not look like it does with the Internet Box Plus where there are additional things.
I can’t say whether the speed test is on the first page of the IB S like it is with the IB+.
