Am I actually the only one who operates 5 telephones in the office with a Multiline All-IP Anschluss with two numbers and

- want to call from one phone internal to the other?

- want to answer incoming calls and connect them internally to another telephone?

No matter whether with the new Sarnen, the Rousseau or the Montreux… this basic functionality does not seem to be possible with any of these devices, regardless of whether it is behind a Centro Business or an Internet Box.

The only working solution that Swisscom has been able to show me so far is if each of the 5 telephones has its own public (DDI) number. Using this detour, you could then call each other internally (well, in fact it is external) or forward incoming calls. Of course, that’s only an additional cost of several hundred francs per year that an SME can easily shake out of its sleeve.

I really don’t fully understand where exactly the Business aspect of the “Business Telephony” product is supposed to be. Or is my request so unusual that I expect this functionality from a business telephony product in 2015?

Have you ever looked at the Business Connect product? It is a virtual subscriber switching system (TVA) in the cloud specifically for SMEs:

In my opinion, Multiline is more for families and shared apartments. If you have somewhat higher demands on telephony features, even as an SME you couldn’t avoid a small TVA in the past. Thanks to All-IP, this can now be implemented in the cloud and you don’t need an additional “box” on the wall.

I tested the IP desk phone “Sarnen” over Pentecost. Sarnen had a 033 number, generated on my device by Fastlog from Swisscom’s Repair & Service Logistics. With this number I was also able to call Sarnen out and in on the non-Swisscom Anschluss.

With advice from Business Support from Swisscom, I reset Sarnen to factory settings several times. After several attempts only installed my main number.

The additional no. will only be supported from August (when the Sarnen is also available in the Swisscom shop)

I also asked whether the Centro Business Router with ISDN & Fiber also runs on my Vivo XS > Yes, but you couldn’t order it because the pilot test won’t release it until autumn at the earliest.

Something is slowly happening, but it’s still nowhere near where we used to be, although much more would be possible.

I would also be happy about an IP table device. But apparently the demand is too small.

That’s why I took up the idea for a table device while participating. If it gets enough likes, Swisscom will definitely get such a device.

Someone wrote above that Snom 320 is supported. I have a phone like this and would like to put it into operation.

Unfortunately, I was also forced by Swisscom to switch to VoIP. Actually, I fell into the trap because I switched to Swisscom tv2.0. So to all of you lucky ISDN subscribers, don’t get caught and stay vigilant. Under no circumstances switch to VoIP. You would regret it bitterly! Swisscom only offers the cheapest telephone products!

Now it’s already November and I’m (still) having the same problem. I have 2 Rousseau and a Sarnen (tabletop device). Unfortunately, Rousseau and Sarnen cannot communicate with each other and Sarnen also has no access to the central phone book. When does Swisscom plan to change something?

You can first try SIP with a freeware soft client (e.g. PhonerLite).

There are also other posts in the forum under the keyword Yealink.

And as a last resort, you can wait until Swisscom brings a SIP desk phone onto the market. There will also be appropriate descriptions and support.
