Hello everyone

The update worked great for me (05.00.22/05.00.32) and I didn’t notice any problems during the speed test.

Unfortunately after the update, the connected LAN/WLAN devices are no longer displayed for me (see picture)

Does anyone have a tip?

With the old FW I couldn’t connect the TV 2.0 to the Internet box via WLAN and had to use a WLAN connection kit. The problem is known to SC and has the ID 5A8D.

Has this problem been solved with the new FW (the release notes say “stability improvements in the 5 GHz WLAN”)?

FYI: I solved the device display by restarting the IB.

The only question that remains is whether the new firmware fixes the WiFi connection problems of the TV 2.0 or not.

WLAN connection between TV 2.0 Box and Internet Box: is not officially supported at the moment. It can work, but it doesn’t have to. WiFi is probably a bit tricky. 🙂
At the moment, if you don’t have a LAN connection, a DUO connection kit should be used.

Yes.

Internet and voice work if available with a Huawei E3276. Even TV runs with a good connection. Recording and replay without any problems. I couldn’t get live TV. After about 10 seconds, assuming when you switch to multicast, it’s over…

Mine runs perfectly with Huawei E173 3G and Sunrise subscription. Is there a standard that the stick must adhere to? I’m looking for a 4G stick in case I have problems with the internet again. Does anyone of the SC people here have any further information?

So with the Huawei E3276 4G Stick and NATEL® Easy BeFree pre Paid subscription, the InternetBox switches to G4 after about 30 seconds (when I unplug Copper VDSL2) and runs very well and quickly. If I plug VDSL2 back in, it works after about 15 on VDSL2 and stops G4 automatically.

Swisscom TV 2 Live TV only works for 10-15 seconds and then freezes.

It works better with recordings… but sometimes it gets stuck… (probably too busy on my network…)

Calling via AB or with the Rouseau is also possible.. cool thing (with recordings to watch!)

So emergency backup would be available…

By the way, in the picture above “Internet” shows the “WLAN” sign for Internet when the G4 Stick is online.

That’s clear 🙂

The multicast streams are of course only configured on the landline network. If this were also connected to the mobile network, the antennas and their feeds would be pretty dense from TV traffic… The problem won’t be solved so quickly. Furthermore, I don’t know whether the mobile is basically multicast capable.

As I can still remember, it worked before.

It was years ago, or before Infinity subscriptions were available.

I tested it back then with a FritzBox, a Huawei E1762 Stick and an Easy BeeFree.

Of course I could be wrong and it was still with the old SCTV back then.

But who watches live TV today other than sports broadcasts? And if there is actually an interruption in the fixed connection, recording and replay should probably be enough without getting depressed 😉

Suddenly the speed test works for me too.

Yes, replay can only be a few seconds behind the live…
