Hello Dan31

You paused the current program using the pause button.

After a few minutes you want to continue watching, you press the pause button again and it jumps to the live image. Did I understand that correctly?

If you’re on the live image, you can’t fast forward, because live is live.

Normally, after pressing pause again, you should continue where the pause was. If it switches to live for you, a call to the hotline is recommended.

Hello mazel

I’ll wait and make the change later. I’ve already bought a few things as soon as they appear and then had to deal with the problems. But of course I’m happy that it doesn’t affect everyone and I hope everyone else gets it to work as it should as quickly as possible also gives you joy.

Greetings Corfel

Hello

Totally agree with your post. What Swisscom is selling us here is unbelievable. You promise and promise and nothing is behind it. All the so-called EXPERTS who make fun of the opinions of dissatisfied customers are probably Swisscom employees themselves. No customer can be satisfied with such unfinished products at full price.

SWiSSCOM reads along. At least I hope so. It wouldn’t be more than decent to at least halve the price of TV 2.0 offers.

I’m annoyed almost every day by canceled replay programs or radio broadcasts that are interrupted or recordings that can’t be controlled properly.

I am more than disappointed with Swisscom.

I would like to watch a replay of a midday program on SRF info. I can’t access SFRInfo either via the TV2.0 box or via Internet TV. Simply empty or at the store….

….not possible at all! I’m not used to this from Swisscom. Hope it reloads.

Hello everyone

Thank you for your contributions regarding Swisscom TV 2.0.

In the last few days, together with our partners, we have been able to make further progress in solving problems on TV 2.0. By Friday, all TV 2.0 customers will have a software update automatically installed on their box. This reduces the known limitations such as replay TV and recordings and improves stability. This also fixes HDMI problems with certain types of televisions - especially the new 4K TVs.

We will continue to keep you updated in this thread. For individual questions or feedback about TV 2.0. Our support will be happy to help you: http://www.swisscom.ch/de/res/hilfe/kontakt.html .

When can we expect improved series management, analogous to SCTV 1.0?

I assume that troubleshooting and troubleshooting is still priority 1 and not improving existing features.

Oh dear people who are thinking about getting the SC TV2.0, DO IT IMMEDIATELY!

This howling comes from such a small proportion of users that it is only partially relevant to a decision! The SC TV1.0 box has been running smoothly for me since it was introduced without any failures, replacements or defects.

I would be surprised at how many users have problems with their private life and the installation/network! I also had to make adjustments at home because at first I thought I was smarter than the technical requirements so that I actually had the performance!

I’ve had everything with SC since I could make a phone call, and I’ll certainly never change, because this company’s service isn’t the cheapest, but it’s definitely the BEST! Technically as well as in terms of support!

I know enough people who are with competitors like Cab…. or Sunr…., but then switch, I hope you have fun if you want their support or a working TV!

For me, 2x TV2.0 boxes, VDSL, 1xIP phone, 1x analog phone, 2x cell phone, 1x data mobile, 2x exchange, 1x internet security work absolutely problem-free. And the Kundencenter is awesome!

Many thanks to SC for the really great performance and the design of the new devices is awesome!

Hello everyone

I bought a Samsung 8580 (4k Curced) and now I want the TV Box 2.0.

Are the (HDMI) problems with the new FW now resolved or should I wait with TV 2.0?

Thanks

The fix for this is available in the current firmware. This shouldn’t be a problem anymore. What I don’t know is how the update works if you don’t see anything on the screen. But if in doubt, just reset the box and everything will work automatically without confirmation from you.

Creating recordings doesn’t work again. Wanted to record SpiegelTV on RTL: message that the service is currently not available…

Programming recordings is also not possible via PC

I’m slowly getting fed up with all these mistakes, especially when I think about the upcoming World Cup. But the main thing is to continue to advertise SwisscomTV 2 and give new subscribers nice gifts (Internet box), which the long-suffering early users should pay with 99.- Fr….

Thanks for the update. Swisscom TV 2.0 was unfinished and unreliable the whole time. Very very annoying. The update from May 22nd was installed sometime a few days ago. I was very hopeful that something would get better. Apparently that’s not the case! This Sunday I couldn’t watch any show normally. All the time the image stops, jerks and then continues again - or even worse; cannot be played at all! At around 7 p.m. I wanted to watch a recording; However, this could not be played. After about 10 minutes of trying and restarting twice it finally worked. Even at 10 p.m. there are still jerks and new error messages. Things were better before the update.

And now to all the optimistic Swisscom employees who are here in the forum; No, I don’t feel like calling Hotmail again, waiting in the queue and then being fobbed off with vague information and shrugs of the shoulders. The fact is: it doesn’t work properly! The last time I called with a problem I received an email address for my complaint. I wrote an email there - then after a few days a call on my cell phone, which I unfortunately missed, and then an email telling me to get in touch with you on 0800 800 800. Then I was on hold again for almost 10 minutes, connected a few times until I got the answer that the employee who had a clue couldn’t be reached. That’s no fun! And I agree with other voices here in the forum: I think it’s a disgrace to pay full price for a product like this. And just as bad: you see advertisements for Swisscom TV 2.0 everywhere - a product that causes such problems. I find that a disgrace!

Hello poor and beleaguered Swisscom tv 2.0 users

I just came back from vacation and was looking forward to a cozy evening watching TV on the drive home. But far from it: Despite a supposed software update, the same problems still exist. That is clearly an understatement, as there was nothing on certain channels this evening. No reply possible on the Swiss and from around 9 p.m. nothing worked anymore. No more channels could be received and no recordings could be played back. At the moment it’s really annoying me to act as a beta tester for a whopping monthly Betrag and 90 Chf for the changeover.

I cannot understand or confirm any of the improvements mentioned. At the moment I find the service provided just terrible. I was actually quite happy with the predecessor to 2.0. I have no idea how such a product could be implemented so poorly across the board.

A frustrated swisscom tv 2.0 user

Why are you sure that the update is available?
Otherwise 0800 800 800!

Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.

Update was announced in this Treath for May 30th! But unfortunately it didn’t help, and certainly even more problems. Why should you call the 0800 number? They can’t help either. The problems run deeper. At the moment swisscom tv 2.0 is not usable. I hope it gets better quickly…

I had about 8 recordings in the month of April/beginning of May that were incorrect (broken or not complete)

I checked all of these recordings again today. All played without errors. That’s why I can say from my side that everything is fine with the recordings at the moment.

I’ve never had a bad recording, it really seems to be bad luck sometimes, or in your case bad files that were then cleaned up or you had access problems that day. I’m happy for you!

Upgrade for non-testers was from May 27, 2014 - May 29, 2014

Where do you see advertising other than on the Swisscom website?
