  • If you indeed work for Swisscom (and I hope you don’t) I’d take my buisness elsewhere. You make Swisscom soud like a silly little company. I’m pretty sure this is not what they want to be perceived as. I personally didn’t touch a Window machine in more than a decade, and as a user of both Mac hardware and Linux, I have enough alternative to myCloud to take my buisness elsewhere.

I find your answer very unprofessional.

  • Hope you’re joking.

  • “MonoCloud supports standard protocols (webdav, ftp/sftp) and has an open API that can be used and connected with numerous services and trending apps to enable users to create their own content and increase platform engagement.”

In order to make the service truly useful, you will need to re-examine your strategy… whether by open standards, or femre i.e. your “client desk”, which, in fact, threatens thea** ** digital security** of your users.

  • (sorry for barging in english, I speak Dutch, so I could figure out a little bit).

Sorry to hear there are no plans for a Linux client. Many professionals, including programmers and sysadmins use linux today on the desktop, even if not as the main OS on their’s PC/Mac. Would be very useful to so, especially if there’s already and Android client…

  • Seems like the client is re-scanning sync directory everytime it notices a change. This behavior is VERY disruptive to work, as it makes the computer bearly responsive…

  • myCloud integration with local file system?

Are there any plans to offer an integration of myCloud with the local file system, using either the Finder (on macOS), webdav, sftp or anything else which is actually practical/useful? The current client offered for automatic backups on the desktop is great but being able to store and reterive documents would be more productive.
