Register for free, but pass on data and email to third parties, I have no access to the router, everything is much worse than in the Home app, and everyone in the family now has to register there, with the third party. With the Home app, the whole family could use it on their smartphone without any stress, without having to register with third-party providers via email, etc. Everything is made much worse and you can’t see anything except the switches, in the home app you have direct access to the router, you could even restart the router. Everything is different and worse now. If I had known that the home app would be switched off, I would not have bought the more expensive Swisscom smart home switches. Then I could have ordered any smart switch for 2-3CHF from AliExpress and not paid 20-30CHF per piece for a Swisscom smart switch. I only bought this because you also had access to the router, smart switches and the entire Swisscom network with the Home app. I don’t have this with MyStrom. I’m disappointed, as I said, bad and unfriendly move by Swisscom. Just turn something off and sell smart switches months before the shutdown and lure customers with 30-50% discounts on the holidays.

MyStrom app requires too much data, you have to take out subscriptions there and pay for them. Why should I go to third-party providers if I am a Swisscom customer? This should have been mentioned when purchasing the Swisscom Smart switches, but it is and remains an insult to customers. It’s exactly the same when Mercedes sells me a car with subscriptions and apps and then says I should please download the apps from BMW, VW etc… because the Mercedes app no longer works and is switched off, but thank you for that bought it. Rip-off, very simple, or MyStrom sent Swisscom money and promised % if Swisscom switches off the Home app.
